Listen, I won't lie. My favorite part of this entire movie was Saphira but I think we all could have guessed this. I'm not going to tell you anything else though, so grab a snack and a drink and let's watch this movie!

You are correct that he’s younger in the book- he’s 15 there.

2025-06-25 01:47:41 +0000 UTC26 minutes in, and im like “so why exactly do people hate this movie so much ?” The acting and writing aren’t like, amazing, but it’s definitely not terrible. I’m wondering if it’s because it’s such a straight up and down high fantasy movie, with no gimmicks or subversions or irony. And maybe that’s just too corny for some people? Maybe the movie gets worse, but so far i’m enjoying it. I’m even pleasantly surprised that the CG actually looks pretty good too. It is too mean to say that so far, it’s at least better than the Hobbit movies? Nah those movies had hundreds of millions of dollars and the most beloved fantasy story of all time behind them, no mercy.

2025-05-20 02:32:51 +0000 UTCHaven’t seen this movie since it was in THEATERS cuz i’m OLD. I *think* i read the book, and I remember liking the movie, but I remember absolutely nothing. I feel like people said the movie was bad but i can’t even be sure about that. Either way, looking forward to some more DWAGONS.
