I have such mixed feelings about this movie tbh. I do like it a lot. The songs are SO good, the actors for Victor and Nova have amazing chemistry and voices, Zed and Addison were as brilliant as ever and I always love the messaging behind these movies. But there are just so many little things that niggle me. I have a big list but the biggest ones are Willa and Eliza being essentially pointless, the vampires aren't really vampires at all and I think they should've been called nightwalkers, that line about the rainbow needing to be straightened out made me feel a bit uncomfortable (I hope I'm reading too much into that and it wasn't meant in that way), they never explained where they got the scythes from or why they decided to burn them or why burning them made the first key apear, I hated that the parents had zero consequences for literally being genocidal maniacs who tried to kill their children, I don't get the logic of how the roots being healed by the magic rain also healed Zed and does this mean he can't ever zombie out again (it annoys me that this was never explained) and the thing that annoys me most of all is HOW DID NO ONE SEE THE JOINT DAYWALKER AND VAMPIRE SYMBOL IN FRONT OF THE STONE BALL?! That one really bugs me lol. There were so many people standing there and the symbol was right at the front but yet no one noticed it there and instead they fought for like two days over which side to push the ball to, and also after melting the amber with fire wouldn't the key be too hot to touch? I feel like I'm being such a downer and I don't mean to be. And I really do enjoy this movie but yeah those little issues make it my least favourite of the Zombies movies so far. I think Descendants 4 is much better personally. π€· I hope you don't mind me saying all this and sharing my thoughts. Great reaction as always and I hope you feel better soon. π
