What a week! Midnights has truly taken over my world. I'm completely immersed in this album, and it already holds a special place in my heart as a fan. However, I’ve felt a bit insecure about my initial reaction. It’s challenging to capture everything on the first listen, and some of the more critical comments left me questioning what to do next.
My reaction was a vulnerable one, but I believe that's natural. Spending Saturday night with Taylor until 4:30 AM was the highlight of my journey. I won’t let anyone make me feel bad for enjoying this record, even if I did get a few things "mixed up." I've learned to "shake it off," and this is a message to those overanalyzing think pieces, including my own—haha!
I'm here to build a positive community. I understand some of you are here for your favorite artist and not necessarily for me, and that's okay. Just be respectful in your critiques. I love honest feedback on production and editing, and I also enjoy debating music with all of you. Remember, I am human, not just something on your screen. We can disagree, but let's keep it cute.
I've recovered some lost tracks from the standard album, and I hope you enjoy the chaos. I'll be taking a brief break from Taylor to fully enjoy Midnights, but we’ll resume with Debut by the end of the month.
