With the one in Series 19, I think it's because they were US-based as opposed to Desiree who is very much UK-based.

I think that I’m a lot like Victoria especially when she tries things like a ‘cool hobby’ with ice sculpting. I also like the mix of personalities and how they all go together. Desiree is the one I think is the loudest personality. I honestly believed she wa Canadian until I looked it up
