I liked the little banter between Reid and Emily at the beginning of the episode, showing he's trying but then later, it shows that he's still got work to do. The unsub was so horrible, straight up evil. I liked the backstory stuff with Hotch and Gideon knowing Hotch well enough to stop him from getting close to the fire.

2025-02-19 19:15:18 +0000 UTCThe guy they were working with in this episode, who you said you liked at the beginning of the episode, was another actor from Third Watch, continuing the Third Watch streak this season. I don't really care that much about the unsub in this episode, other than wanting him caught because he was such a monster, but I really liked the stuff with Abby and how much it affected Hotch, I thought that was really well done. Also, that opening is disturbing and still something I remember about this show, it sticks with you. Great reaction, I look forward to the next one.
