If I understood what was said the benefits to single parents phase out more quickly but are offset by increased child support payments unless the single parent shows they are not at fault. In that case doesn’t the policy incentivize the other party to simply admit that they were at fault so that their support payments do not increase to cover a reduction in benefits?
