Hey there, "Saying the name in the Mirror 3 times" Summoners. My "Sort it out" goes to EA and Broadsword Online games . Why in the hell after all this time is Star Wars: The Old Republic not on consoles? Year after year, more MMO's enter the console space with developers understanding that they can make the control scheme work on a controller. TERA, Elder Scrolls Online, Black Desert, DC Universe, New World, Phantasy Star, Star Trek, and one of the most popular out there, Final Fantasy 14. What's the excuse for not putting SWTOR in the mix. I can't imagine it's any more complicated play style wise than the others. Putting that game on PS5 and Series X/S would boost the player number count and bring eyes and bucks to what I have heard are some stellar expansions. Have any of you played it or had the desire to but didn't want to do so on PC? What do you do think are the reasons it hasn't made the jump? Take care and have a good week.

They are a Taiwanese developer, and the ey pushed past some bullshit censorship from China with their previous game and came back and made one of the best 2D action games of all time. If you havenāt played it yet, I canāt recommend it highly enough. Itās an absolutely gorgeous, hand drawn metroidvania. The movement is so smooth, and the combat is absolutely sublime. Everyone compares it to Hollow Knight and Sekiro and I agree. It is heavily parry focused and just feels super responsive and satisfying. Some of the best boss fights Iāve ever played, too. I know a lot of us are tired of Metroidvanias at this point, but if youāre willing to give one more a shot, this might be the best one yet.

Iāve played Skyward Sword, Breath of the Wild, Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, and A Link Between Worlds. Despite playing for tens of hours, I never beat those 3D Zelda entries except for Ocarina of Time. But when I think of my favorite Zelda, A Link Between Worlds comes to mind. It has engaging gameplay and itās not that long, which is partly why I love it. So, 2D or 3D Zelda? Which style do you favor?

Not too difficult, has a clever twist on light/dark dimensions, a cute style, and good introduction and guidance for items. Do you agree that this game is a good entry point for new Zelda players? While he praised the game, especially from the events of the 11/20 date. You know, you know. One thing was not addressed was his thoughts on the third semester. Matty, for years you praised the new semester. You even calling it the best JRPG story of all time. Please show Gene the light, as he did not felt the same as the rest of the P5 community. Look up the blond girl party member. Her jiggle takes the clothing into account and everything, it is a sight to behold and it's hilarious because it took some very dedicated developer many hours to make it. The number one physics goes to stellar blade of course... its also my favourite game, no question.

And it got me thinking - there is a lot of AI slop on various video game storefronts but those are inconsequential. But what do you think an "AI slop" video game looks like once triple A money are put towards it? You don't need to read this part but for me, it's the new look Assassins Creed, starting from Origins. Everything there ranges from below average to above average. Nothing is truly great or exceptional but also rarely is there anything straight up bad. There are a lot of features there but none of them come from some kind of direction or vision. It's all market researched, focus tested and approved by a committee. I think this is more or less what a well trained AI would design. Thoughts?

Iāve completed Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask, Wind Waker and Minish Cap with three hearts. While it certainly doesnāt get to Fromsoftware levels of difficulty, it makes the games MUCH more interesting and challenging. It forces you to use items like the Hookshot, Boomerang and Deku Leaf for their combat uses more frequently rather than mostly using them for puzzles. Thanks and have a great week!

No, my sort it out is for Alma and my seikret. I appreciate the option to turn off my teammates' birds when they aren't riding them, but for the love of God mine will just waltz right into my camera while I'm fishing. I've lost whoppers due to not being able to fuckin see. And then there's Alma, riding her bird right through the middle of fights. It's distracting af while I'm focusing on not riding the lightning in the middle of a Rey Dou throw-down. The game knows when you are fighting..why can't they faze em out? An option for this too would be appreciated.

Not only do i always play as the most juicy and cute female if there is a choice, i also fill my RPG parties with as many beautiful women as possible even if it is the weakest option. I play through really bad games if the protagonist is a waifu with jiggle going on. I have a top 20 list of best "physics" written down. My girlfriend almost left me when she first saw me using a character creator... she is korean, so she got over it. A proud connoisseur of the female form in every way. The game is good, not great, but my boy Abo-san delivers with the music once again. I know that visual novels are very niche in the US, so I just wanted to shout this composer out. Even when the stories arenāt amazing, the vibes are always immaculate. I regularly go back and listen to the Steins;Gate, Chaos;Child, and Robotics;Notes OSTs just for the hell of it. You have taken the joy out of NBA 2k, PGA and every other game your grubby hands touch. EA is no better! I could maybe understand it if these games were existing service games and they didn't have an annual release schedule, but the fact these purchases really only are good for one year, and then the game is no longer current? Am I crazy for preferring this to Link to The Past? I understand that game is probably objectively better and certainly more important, but the feel of Link Between Worlds is just something else. To the rest, do you have similar experiences where you know one game may not be the best in a series, yet it remains your favorite?

It was a pleasant surprise to see Mattyās video on atelier Yumia, and I am happy that Yumia is getting a lot positive reception just like Ryza and her thighs. Do you, Mr. Marty, believe this the new entry is on the right track to get the series into a newer fan base,? and will any of the summoners will check this or any of the previous games? The alchemy system is easy to learn and hard to master, and you can create game breaking items if you go deep into it. With all the talk around Assassinās Creed Shadows, I see many people talking about how despite being dissapointed in the last few entries, they're still jumping into this one because they "played every other one". Do you guys have a "clock-in franchise". A series that you're not really a fan of anymore but you play each new entry because you've always played them? Ever since Xenoblade Chronicles (not to discount their prior work) they have been on a historic run with a consistent output of games that simply do not miss. While also lending their talents in the development of games such as BOTW and TOTK due to their expertise in open-world games. Which leads me to Xenoblade Chronicles X, which is what impressed Nintendo prompting them to ask for help with Zelda. XBCX was a miracle on the Wii U in 2015 and the Definitive Edition is still a miracle on the Switch in 2025, that still puts other open-world games to shame 10 years later. Also keep it up to Gene who has a been huge advocate of Monolith Soft and their games. Please keep glazing them. Thanks.

I realized that I had reached the point where I would either research a game beforehand to see how hard it was to get the achievements or change my gameplay experience to be able to get them (example, having a guide open with a list of missables or collectibles I need to get). And unsurprisingly, it has been ruining my gaming experience. I have adopted work habits into what is supposed to be my relaxing hobby. I am curious about your thoughts.

I want to spend your fight coins, but there is nothing in the fucking store worth buying. Capcom isnāt releasing skins for normal characters. Just that stupid world tour custom avatar bullshit. Why not give Ryu the phoenix wright suit. Give Akuma the Silver Samurai outfit. Give Mai the Felicia outfit. But no, you fucking give it to avatars. Oh hereās a basketball jersey for your avatar. 700 fight coins. Get the fuck out of here. I sometimes buy the battle pass to get the arcade roms, or the music. At the end of the pass, I get 90% of my coins back. Now youāre telling me coins are about to expire? Arenāt those technically ānew fight coinsā? To be fair, I donāt know if itās a Capcom thing, or a normal thing. I donāt buy much currency in live service games. I only have fight coins because I bought 3 costumes last year. And you know, the costumes are equivalent to $4.50, but the Fight coins start at $5. That bullshit. Sort it out. Iām glad the European Union is doing something about all these horrible practices.

Releasing 11 total projects in a single console generation is not only a herculean task but they're all bangers to boot: Splatoon 2 & 3, Animal Crossing, both Zelda's, 4 Xenoblade's and their DLCs. I would go as far as saying Xenoblade X is a Citizen Kane to open world RPGs. Other companies should use it as a blueprint for doing the genre right. Have a great day!

After playing through it for 5 hours,the crunchy soulslike combat and level design has me hooked. I've preordered it. I wish more games would drop demos to help up make purchase decisions in the modern gaming landscape.

Their game Warframe is currently celebrating its 12th anniversary, and they just dropped the Techrot Encore update. This update brings a brand new mode, new systems, weapons, and, of course, another new Warframeāthis one inspired by none other than David Bowie. After thousands of hours and many on-and-off periods since launch, I can confidently say thereās nothing quite like Warframe. For Digital Extremes to continuously keep the game feeling fresh and exciting after 12 years is truly impressive. The game is more popular than ever, with the greatest build diversity Iāve experienced in any game. This is what live service done right looks like! Hey! Did you know it came out in 2019? Five years of talking shit about it, and now you want to finally give it a chance, but you STILL insist on playing weeb gooner shit. I'm just giving you smoke, this comes from a place of love. The game is fucking fantastic and I hope you see it through. PS, definitely give yourself a break between these two games; you may be a little burnt out at the end of the first one if you go for the platinum. Much love to you all!

The newer games look stunning, but the soul is gone. The facial animations are stiff, the writing is bloated and flat, and emotional scenes fall apart because thereās no nuance in performance. Compare Valhalla or Mirage to something like Uncharted 4 or The Last of Us Part II, and itās night and dayādespite being older, those games feel more alive and human. The worlds now are massive but empty. Thereās no sandbox creativity, no real stealth identity, just checklist tasks over and over. AC used to be about consequence, secrecy, and smart design. Now it feels like a generic open-world grind with Assassin cosplay layered on top. Itās time to stop chasing RPG trends and bring back the cinematic, stealth-driven identity that made this franchise iconic. Thanks as always for the show, really appreciate what you guys do.

If thereās anything this industry has taught us in the last couple of years, itās people will always find something complain about, but when a good product comes out everyoneās opinions suddenly change (sort it out trolls!). I feel they donāt have to, but ID and Hugo taking about these difficulty sliders has been cool and transparent, even though they settled the matter with the infamous āyou control the buttons you pressā tweet. Anyway Doom Dark Ages is my most anticipated game and canāt wait! Keep up the good work LMS fam!

Keeping my expectations low made the experience so much better. Honestly, the final boss was the camera angles and QTEsāsuch painful game design. That said, the gun-fu was surprisingly fun, and playing with a buddy made it a blast. A gummy here and there didnāt hurt either. For anyone holding off, give it a shot. Just temper your expectations and play with a friendāyouāll be laughing your ass off. I even grabbed the platinum since it wasnāt too bad. With that, Iāve now finished every mainline RE game.
