I think if the EU can force Apple to allow alternative storefronts on iPhone, it’ll push consoles to have a physical option for as long as possible, as it’d be their defense in a lawsuit based on that precedent. It may be even beneficial for Xbox to invite that lawsuit and create a legal environment where they’re allowed to launch a storefront on PlayStations and Switches.

I was surprised by hearing 40, as well, with me as a 6’3” 200 lb. fella w/ thin arms doing a balance of 10’s & 20’s. I don’t have any weightlifting knowledge, so I let it pass. I just do what feels comfortable + a little extra. Admittedly, I have slacked during Winter but am excited to get back to it.

To the listener question, bothered by Chris not finishing games… STAND DOWN! 😉 I think Chris has a grasp of his time in a different way than Colin’s ‘Platinum Path’ but it is no less respectable. Chris has different goals in mind, as well as being far more comfortable bouncing from a gaming experience that isn’t ‘clicking’ at the time. Saying that, I think Colin charges on for more reasons than just a Platinum. I think he respects the great equally with the not so, and feels a need to absorb something (like a sponge), before passing judgment. Salute to both strategies! 🫡

Yep. I learned firsthand as someone who focused upper body way too much. Balance is essential as well as proper weight, you don’t want to work all front, no back, then imbalance your torso.

FORTY POUND DUMBELLS TO CURL ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? This is a rookie mistake that most people make for vanity reasons of course. The bicep is just a lil baby. That injury makes sense now though. If you are actually reading this, ask Cog. Someone with your ectomorphic build should really do 15lb til you can do 15 x 12 reps x 3 sets then graduate to 20 x 6 reps x 3 sets, 20 10, 20 12, 25 6... SLOW controlled movements. Focusing on the bicep as you curl. Weights completely extended down to your side, up to making around a 30° angle. Squeeze at the peak. Edit: oh yeah and don't bend your wrist. Focus the entire weight on your bicep. Bending your wrist will give the appearance you can indeed curl 30lbs weights but by doing so you are engaging your forearm to assist the bicep. Trust me when I say 20lbs at 12 reps 3 sets you will be screamin by the end. Anyway, feel better soon.

I'm so bored of the TLOU casting discourse. Its a goddamn TV *adaptation*, the characters don't have to look identical to how they looked in the game. The shit about Bella Ramsey being cast as Ellie was already old even before season 1 aired - and shock horror, she actually turned out to be pretty great in the role. And even if it wouldn't be your first choice for the role, it certainly didn't detract from the quality of the show itself, which was awesome. How about people wait and see how season 2 looks before losing their minds again. And yeah sure I kinda get raising your eyebrows a bit when comparing Dever's appearance to Abbie - but Druckmann's comments actually make perfect sense to me. We're watching a dramatic TV show, not playing an action adventure game. I could give a fuck if Dever is ripped or not, let's see how she actually performs in the role. And for people saying she's too small, well she's still bigger than Bella Ramsey so that showdown should still look fine

Overdoing and not resting during injury will only lead to surgery. Save the 45 pounders for dumbbell presses. A healthy diet with sufficient amounts of protein for recovery is also crucial. Rest up and you'll be back to your routine in no time.
