Bella Ramey is a disaster as Ellie and when your actor for Abby looks more like Ellie than your Ellie one does you have a problem. I mean, Abby’s size is as integral to who she is in the game than anything. It embodies everything about her, without her muscles mass what’s the point? The character is as much her impressive size as it is her motivation and Neil hand waving that with the flimsy excuse he used was laughable. The further I get from the show the less I like it, it isn’t very good. Everytime it mimics the game scene for scene the game is just so much better and more importantly, acted better. The casting just doesn’t work and when you already have a template for how your characters look, intentionally deviating from that just takes away from the watch ability for fans familiar with the source material.

It’s my 3rd fave in the franchise behind 3 and 5 and it took the story in an interesting direction. Some of the stage design were immensely impressive and it deserved a sequel with how they were building to Vergil in the game and DLC. Ninja Theory did a great job.

Dragon Age almost explicitly failed as a game due to this, that’s a fact. The main drivers of the game were YouTubers who almost entirely were against the game contrary to what Chris is wrongfully implying. That’s who EA was counting on to push the game and it didn’t work. Even the staunchest Dragon Age fans, and despite Colin’s assertion the franchise did HAVE many, spoke out against Veilguard and its abomination of writing and characters. I’m not sure why the crew can’t just let themselves embrace the fact that gamers are rejecting this outright and while it might not be as widespread of the bad faith messengers try and push, it’s definitely a big factor that is hurting sales. I remember Chris insinuating that Concord’s failure wasn’t due to “wokeness” or whatever you want to call it and it unequivocally did! Also, the assertion that no one can even describe it is laughable, everyone knows what it is, what it looks and sounds like and it’s lazy to just muuhhh cause gays are in it! No, that’s not the reason, it’s the agenda above everything which Concord and DA Veilguard are.

2025-02-09 12:24:52 +0000 UTCMy take on pc ports: - Pc ports are not good for playstation exclusives because when ps5 was first detailed. Mark Cerny gave a lot of emphasis in the ssd. The ssd and the io performance is top notch and used to make unique experiences as he mentioned. Now, while developing the games you can’t do quick loading game mechanics if you want to support a broad range of pc’s. Even if the games are requiring speedy ssds it ultimately doesn’t matter because the game will still work on slower than required storage solutions. With all that inconsideration pc release stagnates new and unique technologies on the consoles.

ND acted like people were bigots and sexist for pointing that out. When it came to finding a real life person to fill that role - they couldn’t find it. The body type is completely unrealistic. They then come up with an excuse for why they couldn’t cast the actual body type.

Mafia 2 Definitive Edition is a remaster (not a remake) of a PS3 game, so it still looks and plays like a PS3 game. This is why you noticed a downgrade going from Mafia 1 DE to Mafia 2.

Just leave it as we think this actress is best to portray this character, even if she isn’t exactly the same. No reason to over explain the video game side of it.

It was weird that it was the sequel and played so much worse than the first. But I was excited to play for the story and ran into too many bugs, one that seemed like I couldn’t get past so I gave up.

2025-02-08 17:29:39 +0000 UTCAlso, adding an extra 10 pounds to an exercise is not smart. He increased the weight by 33% going from 30lbs to 40lbs (I think, I'm not good at math). Add 2lbs-5lbs when increasing weight on an exercise. Slowly build up your strength before increasing the weight again.

Where as with PlayStation their games have to compete with games like gta and red dead. Just more options due to the hardware horse power.

If a 10/10 high budget game is 10 years old, why is it that the expectation is it should be $5?If I go into a record shop today and buy a copy of Dark Side of the Moon (new OR used) it’ll be expensive. But it’s freaking Dark Side! It’s of high quality and should be priced that way perpetually.

Having skills and experience in both aerospace engineering and computer science will probably make you very competitive candidate for many software positions in many domains. You might not end up in game dev, but if you’ve invested time and money in CS (and enjoy it of course) I’d keep consider to just keep going. Just my perspective. Shoot for the moon, land among stars type of thing (maybe literally for you?)

All you need is like 15-20LBS and do like 3 sets of 20 and then do a drop set until failure to just destroy your arms. Not about how heavy you lift but about form and slowly focusing on contracting the muscle.

I pretty much skip all story for most of the games I play and once my itch for the gameplay has been scratched I move on to the next thing. Every now and then a story will hook me and I'll pay attention to it, but it's pretty rare. There are even games that I love the story, but my itch has been scratched when it comes to the gameplay and I'll drop it and come back maybe even years later to finish it.

I’m a big guy (225 lbs at 5’11”) and I can deadlift and squat over 400 lbs respectively. I only use 15-20-25lbs DBs for curls. For arm growth it’s about mechanical tension and contraction quality. When your body speaks - listen, injuries happen due to overuse and compensatory patterns. Means the arm is no longer relying solely on the biceps brachii to move the elbows, as it’s too much weight, tendons and ligaments are being pulled into the fold and strained there inflammation happens to protect them. AKA tendinitis.
