Sort it out poor audio mixing in games. Music and effects should not be so loud during cutscenes that it's hard to make out key dialogue

2025-01-26 03:00:31 +0000 UTCHey summoners! I'd like to jump into the FFXIII discussion as I recently played this game for the first time in pursuit of quest to beat all main line Final Fantasy titles. First, I thoroughly enjoyed FFXIII. Perfect? No, but I was delighted by it far more than I anticipated based on what I recall from the discussion surrounding the game back in 2010. While I still need to play FFXV, FFIX, and FFV to complete the series, I'm confident in stating that I died more FFXIII than all other FF titles combined. Does anyone else recall it having a rather steep difficulty spike? Anyway, I'm pumped to hear the game receive contemporary discussion! Be well. Clark Petri

2025-01-26 01:33:26 +0000 UTCIs it just me or does FF XIII have some of the best music? I don’t remember having a great love for the game, but the music has stuck with me all these years. Makes me want to play it again.

2025-01-26 00:43:08 +0000 UTCHello Brad of the West, Gene of the last bastion of Kmart in Guam, and Ember of Arcadia Sort it out - Ubisoft You would think Ubisoft would be doing more to make Assassins Creed Shadows as good looking as possible. During their most recent stream, even a simple bug as trying to pet a dog ended up showing itself. After this happened, they took to X/Twitter to make a comment as a “joke” saying Note to Self - make work in progress appear bigger. Making snarky remarks publicly shouldn’t be on Ubisofts list of things to be doing right now. The game is two months out and still having small bugs like this showing up, then try to hand wave it. Thanks for the great content and enjoy your week

2025-01-25 23:58:07 +0000 UTCHey Fellas! Do you ever give yourselves gaming goals for the year? I’ve been doing this the last few years and it’s been very fulfilling. As I got back into gaming a few years ago after turning 40, I was overwhelmed with how many games I needed to play. I set a goal of beating 25 games in a year. It was a lot of fun tracking and staying on the goal, and I ended up beating 33. I set a goal of 50 games the following year and managed to just barely do it. Last year I set a goal of beating all the Souls games as well as Sekiro, Bloodborne and Elden Ring. What an amazing experience that was. This year I’m turning to some big RPGs that I never got to, namely Witcher 3, Baldurs Gate 3, Cyberpunk, and Mass Effect. These goals have really enriched my gaming time, and help me feel like I’m accomplishing something while having a ton of fun. I realize as I say this it may sound, to some, like a horrible way to kill their gaming fun, but it works for me. What say you guys?

2025-01-25 23:55:22 +0000 UTCNinja Gaiden being back is a good sign for us Dead or Alive fans. I bet in 2026, there will be a DOA7 done in unreal engine 5. Maybe Tecmo Koei learned their lesson and won’t charge $500+ for costumes. Don’t get me wrong, I would diddle most of the DOA girls, and I’m sure you would, too. But I have always loved DOA for the combat. I mean, come on, there is no fighting games like DOA where the environment plays a huge factor in the fight. Water, the high ground, walls, snow, etc. Is anyone else excited for a potential new DOA? Or did Eve and 2B make you forget about the DOA girls? (Hahaha)

2025-01-25 23:48:13 +0000 UTCHey sumners! Sort it out to Colin, i cant believe he hasn't played the Yakuza series. He said he's currently in the mood for some mafia games. And maybe its time to sort that out, at least try to start with the first one. Work on the main story and just the sub stories. No chance for the platinum if you cant do Mahjong so it will help with focusing on just experiencing the story.

2025-01-25 23:12:42 +0000 UTCHello, Soommoners! Quick question for Mr. Arcade. Is Wuthering Waves a gooner’s dream? Thanks.

2025-01-25 22:50:43 +0000 UTCSort it out to Rockstar that still hasn’t ported Grand Theft Auto 4 to the PS5; I don’t have a gaming PC or Xbox, and in preparation of GTA 6 I had to bust out the PS3 to play GTA 4 for the first time. It was an awesome time and was happy to finish it in a week and a little over 30 hours, but would of devoted even more time to it if I could of played it on the PS5 with remote play.

2025-01-25 22:45:35 +0000 UTCHello Summoners As someone who tried Wuthering Waves at its initial launch in 1.0 but found it just okay with its bad optimization, forgettable story, but great ideas, I am thoroughly impressed with its 2.0 launch. The new map, Rinascita, is a really cool Italian-themed map with great music and character design. The story has been great so far with great boss fights and moments. You can even tell they take a lot of inspiration from FromSoftware, with an area of the map having its own small erdtree and an easter egg having ghost archers attack you on a bridge. Very interested to see if Kuro Games can keep up with the AAA quality content in the future.

2025-01-25 22:13:15 +0000 UTCHey boys, simple question but I'm curious where you'd recommend a newbie start in the Ninja Gaiden series? Ideally on PS but curious to get your thoughts regardless. I'll also give a quick shoutout to the Final Fantasy XIII soundtrack. I still need to play the game but man is that soundtrack beautiful.

2025-01-25 21:47:22 +0000 UTCHello everyone, I want to issue a “sort it out” to Xbox and their PC platform. Ninja Gaiden was presented in the direct and Ninja Gaiden 2 Black was shadow dropped with much hype and pomp. But then I find out the Steam version supports DLSS whilst the Xbox version does not. Seems like Steam has a more recent version of the software. How can Xbox presume to compete in the PC space when they can’t even provide the full features of the game at launch? Game Pass is a good price deal, of course, but it seems like on PC we can get the cheaper, 2nd-class citizen treatment… Cheers to everyone

2025-01-25 21:29:23 +0000 UTCWhat's up boys! Sort it out to Nintendo. As excited as I am for the Switch 2, the fact that third parties still aren't allowed to announce their games for Switch 2 is a weird choice. I would've loved to have a bunch of third party game announcements keep me going until the April Direct. Do you guys forsee any major Switch 2 news until the April direct?

2025-01-25 21:28:31 +0000 UTCBoys! Fucking Ninja Gaiden Black 2! So good to see the series back and in great form. Been having a blast playing this since it shadow dropped. After OD'ing on Souls style action games for well over a decade it's been a breath of fresh air to go back to a simpler hack and slasher. Can't wait for Ragebound and 4 later this year. The mother fucking Hayabusa's are back!

2025-01-25 21:22:12 +0000 UTCI have a sort it out for Square Enix. I've been wanting to go back and play the Final Fantasy 13 trilogy for many years. Yet those are the only (non-MMO) games in the franchise not a available on modern PlayStation hardware. Just port the damn things already!

2025-01-25 21:21:41 +0000 UTCI want to give a keep it up to LSM's own Gene Park who wrote an excellent article on David Lynch's influence in the video game industry. I know most of LSM doesn't watch movies but I love seeing someone do a deep dive into an artist who otherwise wouldn't really be recognized by the video game industry. As much as I have a love-hate relationship with most of Lynch's work the way that he's influenced games like Alan Wake, Silent Hill, and more is deeply important. One final question, do you have a favorite David Lynch movie? My personal favorite is fire walk with me even if I really cannot stand season 3 of twin peaks.

2025-01-25 21:21:04 +0000 UTCHello all, how fucking rad is Ninja Gaiden 2 Black? I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I am given the original was tough as nails. I know gamepass gets clowned on often but a shadow drop of a solid ass remaster? Come on now. Shout out to Xbox revitalizing the ninja gaiden series.

2025-01-25 21:16:29 +0000 UTCHey Sunmoners, Final Fantasy XIII is such an underrated gem. I’ve always felt that the criticism it received at launch was mostly unfair. The story, characters, and combat are all deeply engaging and deserve more appreciation. If the game were to get a rerelease, I’m confident many people would reevaluate their initial opinions. Ember, what’s one aspect of the game you think doesn’t get the credit it deserves? Best, Sean M

2025-01-25 21:13:56 +0000 UTCBradley, Mother Fuckin, Ellis! Big dick Brad playing Ninja Gaiden 2!? That's awesome! I hope you beat it and can't wait to hear your thoughts! I remember playing this one back in the day and just giving up on it. Too hard for me and my tiny balls. You more excited for 4 or Ragebound? Personally Ragebound is more appealing to me. Gene and Ember I hope you're doing well also!

2025-01-25 21:12:48 +0000 UTCHello Brad, Gene and Ember. This time I’m gonna give a “Keep It Up” to perpetually troubled Xbox. While yes, the dye is cast on the future of their hardware, as a fan of games, their recent Developer Direct reinforces to me they got the goods. And come on, you bring back Ninja Gaiden with 4 (and shadowdropped 2 Black!) when we desperately need more character action based games instead of more Souls slop? You doing the Lord’s work!

2025-01-25 21:12:33 +0000 UTCHey guys, Brad, to someone who has never played a ninja Gaiden game, is this remaster a good starting point? I tried getting into both nioh games and rise of the ronin but they just didn’t click for me. Is it worth the price point or would you recommend waiting on a sale? Thanks for all you do!
