2025-01-16 03:52:31 +0000 UTCBrad, you technically can drop a 5080 into your system but the 50 series is PCIE 5 so you’ll lose some lanes with a PCIE 3/4 slot on your motherboard. Your CPU may bottleneck a little bit, but running at 4K usually pushes the GPU more than CPU. Another option could be.. buy a used 4090 and boom!

One thing I’d like to add that always is glossed over about A Realm Reborn’s story/missions: everyone forgets that these serve almost entirely to introduce you to each area and town, big or small. You do these, you get to know the small and big characters, the background of nearly every place and the history of the conflicts, without this background the world just doesn’t have the narrative punch behind it. I get they’re dated, but it was necessary to build towards the greatness that came after it
