I’ve been tryna decide about having her watch it. It’s a great fight, but it does spoil a LOT even if they’re somewhat small (sasuke w rinnegan, rasengan, Naruto being hokage, and mastering kurama) so we’ll see. It may just have to wait till shippudens done 😕

You should also have your mom watch the whole Isshiki fight. That's my favorite followed close by the Momoshiki fight. The anime Momoshiki fight is better than the movie fight but there are some good moments in the movie.

Im 25 and its been such a delight to rewatch the show with you two. It brings back memories of when i was a young kid around 6-7 years old and had all the same questions mom has and the same excitement and giddiness to see what happens next!

I'm 20, I've only been watching anime for a few years. I started watching anime because my little sister was into it. I've already finished watching Naruto, but I love re-watching it along with you guys.

yeah for boruto we'd DEFINITELY skip almost all filler. the only filler i watched in full was the timeslip arc, and i know she'd love that part. im sure we'll watch it at some point, but if we don't, we'll watch the jigen and momoshiki fights for sure! i've also heard great things about two blue vortex, so maybe demand will be high by the time that gets adapted!

thanks! im super curious as well! she's not much of a movie/show watcher, so as of right now she doesn't really think about the nuances of certain things. its been cool to see her start to though, and by shippuden i think she'll be fully immersed, especially in naruto himself!

As far as Boruto goes, I would love to see you react to the show. I think it would be fine if you ignore the worse fillers like when Cho Cho falls for the actor. 😁I think your mom would love at the very least the great fight scenes. Some of the best I've seen. Can you say Baryon mode Naruto! 👍😍🎉

I'm glad you guys are doing Shippuden. I'm looking forward to experiencing how Mom reacts to the tonal changes in the sequel, for example, how dark some storylines get, or the sadness that comes due to circumstances in the storyline after investing so much time and heart into getting to know a character, or realizing how Naruto uses his ups and downs, his confidences and depression to move forward in the strengthening of his body, mind, and spirit. Keep up the good work. I enjoy just how much your mom seems to love and appreciate this show and I am impressed and happy to see how you hold her hand through this endeavor to make sure she understands the nuances and complexities of the show. Keep up the good work.

sorry somehow your reply didn't give a notification! We are DEFINITELY watching shippuden, but we'll have to see on boruto. I personally like it, but im not sure if the demand will be there for it :(

ive been wanting to watch yu yu hakusho, so im glad to hear it's your fav! hopefully we can watch it on the channel eventually! Naruto is definitely the perfect reaction show imo. Its so long that it's kind of nice to watch a reaction and see the highlights. Not to mention the insane payoffs in shippuden! thanks for sharing!

Yes, Naruto is my favorite by far. I also love Demon Slayer and an anime that didn't get a great reception on Netflix called Cagaster of an Insect Cage. Are you guys planning on watching Shippuden and Boruto?

I’m 28 and my first anime was DBZ around when I was a toddler and then it was Naruto around middle school.
Naruto (the anime) didn’t end until a few years AFTER I graduated high school in 2014.
I never moved further past Naruto until recently at 26 and so now my favorite anime is Yu Yu Hakusho.
For me, Naruto has excellent replay value especially since it’s been stuck with me for so long and it’s just something fascinating about watching other peoples genuine reactions and interpretations to your favorite shows. It’s like a revival in the way that it can make a really old show feel brand new again.
Also it’s a great time passer while at work 🫡

My friend got me into Samurai Champloo, then I started watching Naruto as it was airing on tv. As for my top 3 I'd say 1. Higurashi (actually the whole when they cry series but the Umineko anime is incomplete and Ciconia only has a VN right now) 2. Monogatari 3. Bleach. It's kinda hard for me to rank those as I also love shorter anime like Another, Parasyte, Mirai Nikki etc.

It was my second anime as well! What are your personal top 3, and what made you watch anime/samurai champloo in the first place?

That's genuinely so awesome! I used to watch NCHammer as well until he started talking mostly about boruto, which I'm not caught up with. There's so much complexity to naruto, that I truly think it's for all ages, and i'm sure you could agree! Is naruto your favorite, and are there any others you have near/past it? Thanks for the comment :)

I'm 32, I first watched Naruto pretty much when it came out. It was my second anime, my first one being Samurai Champloo. Naruto isn't my favorite anime, I don't even know if it cracks my top 10 but it's still a show I liked a lot and I enjoy revisiting it with you guys

You asked about our ages. I'm 62. I didn't get into anime until 2020 when I became disabled and for the first time in 40 years was without a job. With all that free time and with limited mobility, I became increasingly bored with TV. My teen niece who lives with me suggested that I watch The Promised Neverland and a couple of other animes. That was my introduction to the world of anime. I never understood the appeal of anime for adults until I started watching. It's not like watching the cartoons I grew up with, which is what I thought they were like. Then I began Naruto and fell in love with the Naruto world. Not only have I watched Naruto, Shippuden, and Boruto several times, but for the past 3 years, I have been watching several Naruto content creators who explain and analyze these 3 anime (my favs being Naruto Explained and NCHammer). In the past year though I have been watching content like your own where Nauto virgins watch and react to episodes. It's like I'm reliving the emotions I had when I was a newbie by watching others experience them for the first time. Love your content.
