Despite his mundane work, Jack never loses his optimism and hopes for the future. Even though he might not be the first one to step on the future earthβs ground, he is still able to prove his worth to the operation by taking care of important cargo needed for everything to function. He seems to be friendly with everyone, often cracking jokes and sharing his plans for the new life. But sometimes his friendly intentions can be interpreted as an attempt to get closer to the higher ups, getting a friend to help him with life on the mothership.
