i understand shelter is receiving its final update next month, but would there be any chance of a post 1.0 update involving any of these?

While I voted for some of the above, I believe I agree with the general response here. The above features would be a nice addition so long as you don't lose the core of what you've been doing well. More paths and content would be perfect and these features would be great in addition. However, if they take away a lot of time and/or reduce total content, then none of the above. Do what you do well, and if you can add to it great but don't subtract from one thing just to add another feature. I understand why some folks may want it these but I don't think it should be the focus is all. Just my two cents.

Animations are nice but I would also prefer good content if I can't have both. I am okay with sprites if that's easier to do.

Assuming the game formula of dominating a harem of girls stays the same, female MC definitely. There are very few games in the lesbian harem niche compared to the straight harem one.

Voice acting can be muted. Some scenes will be in 3rd person, just without showing main character's face. We do plan more variations to images. For example, taking clothes off before a scene. But animation can be played in a middle of a scene to have a loop effect. If done right, some prefer it to just still images. Either way, this is just a poll to see what supporters would like to see added. It doesn't mean that we 100% will do it if it shows to be too hard to make. Vision won't be ruined, we just want to improve upon core foundation and create even a better experience.

I second the "None of the above" option Savriss proposed. Don't waste time on that. Voice acting it is very hard to get right and actually can be unimmersive, since it changes how the characters sound in your head. The same with playing a female character, your audience is 99% male and playing as a female doesn't make sense. In third person games, you can at least look at yourself, so it makes entertaining at least; but in a first person game such as a VN it breaks immersion. Animations don't add anything for me, I prefer more sprite variety perhaps in a scene, versus adding those. My perspective here is based on resource constraints right, I mean if you guys had all the money and all the time in the world, why not do everything and in any case make these features optional? But that is not the case and pursuing this features would only mean that the core gameplay, story and vision we are all here for would be delayed and/or diminished. In any case, that is my 2 cents on the proposal.

I suggest that you make some animations to existing games. I would really like a painal Ghorza animation for example. 😈
