Drawing backgrounds has always been my favorite part when drawing, I'm always motivated to work on them :D As for inspiration, I've always liked oriental architecture, some from their simplicity, to the complexity of details, the buildings shapes and colors is something that always catches my attention Although I get inspired in oriental architecture, I don't use references for my art I'd rather using my imagination to create my own buildings and landscapes, it's a lot more fun to make an original design than copy an existing building or place Music also helps me get inspired! sometimes just listening to a song I like gives me a lot of motivation and ideas!!

2021-01-11 19:15:06 +0000 UTCi love the atmosphere in this! it goes very well with the color scheme and the background. it gives off sort of a mysterious vibe?? j like it alot. ive been wanting to ask this for a WHILE now so uh- how do you paint yiur backgrounds? as in- what inspires you or do you look at references?
