About the new RE4 Rando patch coming soon

Hi 👋

A new update that includes door/room shuffle will be uploaded in the next days. The door rando itself is 99% functional, and luckily for us, more stable than expected. I'll give more details about all the changes and how it works when it's uploaded.

I'm making this post here basically for all the people that had trouble installing the May patch. If you had such issues what I recommend, before installing the new October patch, is to do a clean installation of your game, so if the new patch won't work for any reason, then we are sure that the game was good and working before attempting to put the rando on it.

To make the clean installation, you can delete all files and folders in the "Resident Evil 4" folder, leaving it empty, and then verifying games from Steam. The reason why we don't verify the files directly is because doing that alone won't delete possible backup files, files of other mods not related to the rando, or other files that originally are not part of the game.
Also, if using HD Project, it has to be installed after verifying your files, and before the rando is installed.

For those that had no issues I recommend to delete the old RE4_PC_Randomizer folder (or do the clean installation anyway as explained before).
