The suddenly Lucas just hauled back and slammed his fist into Joshua’s jaw.
Joshua saw stars and almost fell over again. “What was that for?” he cried.
“That was just a preview of what your going to get if you try to run or hide from me,” said Lucas. “Stay here. Don’t move. Got it?”
“Yeah, yeah,” said Joshua, who wanted more than anything just to rub his painful jaw. “I got it.”
“Good,” said Lucas and he turned and walked toward the door.
