Writing Log #25 - Of finished manuscripts and predicaments
Added 2025-10-30 19:25:21 +0000 UTCI made the final edits and finished proofreading for all six chapters. The manuscript is truly out of my hands now. (A copy editor was way outside of my budget, but let it be known that I did my best lol)
...This doesn't really convey how much work went into this entire month. Don't ask the people who know me. I definitely did not go insane in any capacity. But now I have 60,000 words of Lulu and Alvin shenanigans that I adore with all my heart. :)
Now that the words are done, I'm on the illustration grind - I sketched five interior illustrations for the second half of the book, one of which you can see above. Rest assured Lulu will save her big boy. All ten story illustrations are now ready for the next step, while the cover art is still DEAD IN A DITCH being carefully considered.
The book is set to release in December, so the illustrations need to and will be finished next month. It'll be part of the Book Club membership for some time, so stay tuned for your holiday read :]
