Protesting Lolis and Policing Degeneracy on Twitter

lol youtube keeps age-restricting my videos. I wonder why?

That first segment is something I've wanted to say for a long time, that video of the lady with the sign just gave me an excuse to do it. Both sides are stupid, and their rhetoric is disingenuous, black-and-white thinking that lacks any nuance.

Here's the interesting part about that video: I thought I was going to piss everybody off because I was disagreeing with both sides. But what actually happened went completely against my expectations: by and large, people on both sides completely ignored the fact that I was criticizing their side, and took my denouncement of the other side as me agreeing with them.

I'm pretty sure that says something about human nature, but I don't have the psych degree required to figure it out.

Anyway, next video is gonna be more degeneracy police. I'm loving that bit, and I'm going to ride it out. I want to get back to doing anime reviews soon, but I'm having so much fun with all this other stuff that it's hard to force myself.

Also don't worry, Tonkatsu's foot is healing up fine.

As always, thank you guys for supporting me, and welcome to the new people who just joined. You're keeping the lights on here, and feeding me, for real.

Now I'm going to go berate people on twitter for their choice in hentai.

I think that you handled this controversy very well and the way that you worded it was spot on. Practical, realistic and to the point. You also didn't lecture or brow beat anyone to death over the topic, thus not drawing out the video. What you had to say was succinct, direct, and then you moved right on to the comedy. Well done, *nods head* Well done.

Oh, and as far as all the people saying you were taking their side: That's just a symptom of the people nowadays. Everyone is too sensitive, they can't handle the idea of someone having a different opinion than them, and they all seek out others that validate their opinion instead of looking for neutral views on the topic. Aka: They're all fuckin whiney assholes.

I understand both sides. Personally, I'm in the lolicon/shotacon side of things. However, it makes perfect sense to me that it would make a lot of people uncomfortable. I also know, from experience, that way more people are into lolis/shota than you realize. They all just hide it, for obvious reasons. When people get really upset about it, and say people who are into loli/shota are into real children, I always give them this example: People allllll over the world love violent video games, movies, and books. They enjoy the fictional portrayal of committing acts of violence, crime, genocide, etc. That doesn't mean that they like and/or want to do those things in real life. Can you imagine if the "if you like the fake, then you like the real" argument worked for all the GTA players? We'd be extinct, if that was the case lol. Besides, real pedophiles don't waste their time on cartoons, when the real stuff is easy for them to find..... unfortunately.... Also, just like GTA players want murder, crimes, genocide, etc. to be met with swift justice; I think that the death penalty is way too lenient for people who pray on real children. Death is too quick and merciful for those monsters... As far as the legality of it all; In the USA, there are exactly zero laws against the fictional portrayal of underage cartoon characters in sexual situations. There was a meeting of the international burea of what you can do on the internet, or whatever its called, a few years back. It was to decide what to do about fictional underage characters having sex, being nude, etc. They, of course, waited until Japan wasn't there, then had a swift meeting to come to a decision before Japan's representatives found out. Japan was obviously furious about it, but that's a whole other story. The decision they came to was that they strongly 'suggest' that search engines and the like do something to limit the availability of loli/shota content. They didn't say anything about shutting down sites or removing content. They just suggested search engines limit the availability. It wasn't a hard rule or law, just a strong suggestion. However, all of the major sites online followed suit, because they didn't want to do anything to upset the people that control their limitations, or lack there of. In conclusion: fictional characters don't exist, and you can't harm someone or something that doesn't exist. However, it's perfectly understandable that it makes people uncomfortable. Also, for a lot of countries, there are no laws against the fictional portrayal of fictional underage characters engaging in sexual acts.

"people on both sides completely ignored the fact that I was criticizing their side, and took my denouncement of the other side as me agreeing with them." Lol, that really is the complete opposite of what usually happens. My stance is more pragmatic: The police has a limited amount of resources and there are crimes that are a lot worse than people drawing anime children having sex. Not just actual child porn, but also murders, robberies, domestic abuse, you know, the usual stuff. Also I'd say it's a lot harder to prevent people from drawing pictures than to prevent them from doing child trafficing. Regarding the question of whether those pictures and videos of animated children increase or decrease the consumption of actual child porn, I want to see some scientific evidence one way or another before I make up my mind of whether animated stuff should be allowed or not, because decreasing the demand and supply of real child porn is what matters. Also I don't think it's actually possible to prevent loli and shota porn from being drawn/animated, and usually nobody gets hurt in the process.

Tonkatsu behind the badge is funny as hell. I thought you were going to piss off a lot of people too. Keep it up man. I never stop laughing and smiling at your videos <3

This is the kind of insanity that drew me in to begin with. Satire may not solve Dramah, but it sure is fun.

AGE RESTRICTED! YOUTUBEEEEE! I'm by in large with you on both points, but I do side more with the 'pro coice' side. Jerking it to fictional characters doesn't hurt no one, and they will never have rights. Showing up to a convention center and protesting the fetish is like going to a bear bar wearing a shirt that says 'Monogamy rights', don't do it because you'll get your ass kicked in more than one way. The guy harassing her is an idiot, but so is the woman. Anyways, you look nice in the uniform.

Do what ya enjoy and remember.... Content is just like a fart, if ya gotta force it it may turn up as crap instead.
