Most VTubers are DOING IT WRONG - How to be a VTuber the Right Way With Tonkatsu Sinclair
Added 2022-04-01 01:12:34 +0000 UTCMan, was this fun to do. As long as this video doesn't completely flop, I'm definitely doing more of these. There's so many brilliant lessons Katsu can teach about VTubing, anime, and a whole host of other topics.
This is basically why I started the VTubing thing in the first place: so that I could create characters and do scenes like this, without having to animate all of it. I love writing character interactions and quick back and forth dialogue like this; it's so much fun, and I think you can get a sense from the video that I was really enjoying myself.
I also want to have MC around more and flesh out his character. Up until now, he's seemed like the level-headed, responsible one, but really he's just as messed up as Katsu. He's a typical high school anime protagonist, but he's in his 30s now. Being an MC, he's been playing on easy mode his whole life, so he's irresponsible with money and has a lot of bad habits. I've got a pretty good sense of who Katsu is at this point, so I want to give Mac some development.
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed the video as much as I enjoyed making it. Thank you to everyone who's been supporting me and is still here, and thank you to all the new people who joined this month. Also VTubers need to make sure to immediately join a company to share part of their profits with, even if they're just MCNs. But I guess even Katsu won't stoop low enough to give that kind of advice. Anyway, I had a lot of fun watching this and I'm happy that MC is back again after all this time. I'm curious where you're going to go with these. Btw: Which Anime are these adorable school girls from?

Having Mac and Katsu going back and forth is by far the most fun to watch. And hey, having more characters in these videos will make it more entertaining and hilarious. This is one of the reasons why I support you. Keep it up dude. Glad you are enjoying this as well.

The grounds of what vtubers are and what it's become associated with have been so thoroughly permeated and kind of played out, but then things like this come along and play with the concept of vtubing period. What you're doing is not vtubing but using vtubing itself as a medium/framing device to create something new and fresh. The reviews are nice, however something like this that is scripted and involve multiple characters is also really fun too. Good shit. Also like the guy above me said, good to find out more about MC and how he makes Tonkatsu look like a perfectly stable, functioning adult. Sorry for the long reply, my inner puzzle piece just came out and I had a lot of feelings.
