Added 2021-12-13 03:19:48 +0000 UTCDumbest video I've ever made, but also one of the most fun. I wanted to see what Tonkatsu would be like if she wasn't constrained by trying to review a show. I wanted to let the character run wild without having to worry about analyzing something. I saw all those stupid articles about tendie shortages, and it just kind of took off from there.
I've been wanting to make that joke about GBP = Good Boy Points for years, that's one of the main reasons I did this. It was fun to just come up with nonsense, I thought like "how many wrong facts can I cram into a 10 minute script?" At the same time, I wanted the nonsense to have an internal logic, otherwise it would descend into lolsorandom just end up being boring.
I want to do videos where Katsu talks about current events, and this was kind of a test run for that, so I picked something benign and easy to meme. Next time I want to pick a more relevant topic and see what happens.

I admit I was skeptical of this one but it was hilarious. Also, it's been great seeing Tonkatsu develop as a character and grow into her own distinctive voice and personality and unique style of being fucking retarded.

If people leave silently then my default assumption is that either they can't support everyone they want to or they wanted to wait some months to decide whether or not they want to stay here. The Christmas thing is a sound theory as well.
