Added 2020-03-07 07:18:42 +0000 UTCThis is my favorite page so far! This is why I decided not to stick any picture frames on the panels like I did in the first attempt, since I wanted to do this!
-Leo has won the "Top Teen Chef" competition two years in a row, one he only got on because of his mother's own celebrity status, being a fitness coach on one of those "fat-to-fit" reality shows you see on like, TLC or Discovery. The Thompsons are more famous than your average person, but it's like, super low-tier celebrity status.
-We see a bit of Rachel's transformation shown here- the fourth pic down is when she was at her fattest, weighing in at nearly 600 pounds. It's no coincidence that this is roughly around the same time she got pregnant with Leo, and decided to stop living the hedonistic lifestyle she had been for his sake. The bottom picture is five years later, and she's made quite a transformation, dropping roughly 350 pounds in the four years since Leo was born. She's still pretty chunky, but as we see here, she's taken up the dumbbell she's seen with in the present day, starting her on the road past just losing weight and into body building... Finally, the third pic on the page is when she acquired the body she has now, five years later again in 2010... (the comic takes place in 2020.)
Rachel's past fatness is something I've put a lot of thought into, and eventually, I plan on going into it in-depth... For now though, I'm eager to draw a bit less blonde hair and introduce more of the cast, and get these two over to Kabocha Academy!
