Clearly no one is happy about this, but if it keeps her safe and gets her close enough to take out Tianyi, she's going to roll with it. She even gets a chance and gets close enough to hold a gun to his face only to wind up with a gun that won't or can't shoot. After that, the Governor's nephew, Fang Yuze, and Tingyao's fiance, tries to take care of her bruised wrist and the two seem to connect in a very extra way that has us in giggles. Finally, another scheme from Tingyao's sister has us ending this episode much like the last one, with Tongyao getting beaten.

It was fun rewatching the episode with you both. Yes, how over the top it is adds to it's charm. I also couldn't help but laugh and admittedly cringe through the scene with her and Yuze as well when I first saw it because...what?! Lol Tianyi stands firm when it comes to her and I liked that about his character even though yes he makes questionable decisions most of the time lol. Mer trying to predict where the story is going lol. It's a bit twisty for sure. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to rewatch this.
