Our leading lady, Shencai, begins her journey at her dream university, but not everything is easy, especially when she gets the attention from one of the school's most popular boys and member of F4, Daoming Si. But the two instantly clash, more than once, and after a kick to the face, we go into the second episode with Si giving Shencai and offer she easily turns down. After that Si begins getting jealous of Shencai's closest guy friend and sends him a Joker card, but it seems his own friend Lei might be the one he should really worry about when it comes to who has Shencai's full attention.
Overall, this was a great start to a new show, and though we're a little surprised at how fast things are moving, we're loving both the similarities and differences to our Boys Over Flowers drama.

It's gonna be a rollercoaster ride of feels but this and Hana Yori Dango are my favorite adaptations of the Boys Over Flowers franchise. Fun lil fact, this drama was actually what got me into asian dramas as a whole so it has a special place in my heart. :') I grew up watching Filipino dramas (or teleseryes, as we call them) but I've never really took time to watch or consume asian dramas *in general* until 2019 when I came across MG18 and fell in love!
