I think Free & Mer might have missed the reason why Suho & Seojun started cheering for the baseball guy. They heard the fans talking if the baseball guy does well in the game he will be recruited stateside . So when Suho and Seojun heard that they started cheering and both were ecstatic when the baseball guy team won. He will be out of the way and not a competition.

2022-07-18 22:32:41 +0000 UTCI like the arc with the mom because - no spoilers - a lot of times our parents think they know what's best and what will help us, and yet there is a gulf in communication so we can't connect. Unlike Sujin's dad, I do think Jugyeong's mom loves her. She just doesn't know the first thing about her struggles, and that's what she has to learn. As for the loveline, I agree that baseball guy was only interested in Jugyeong's face which is not going to work for a girl like her. Right now, the guy she likes AND is most comfortable with is Suho, but at the end of the day it's got to be someone who knows the real guy for sure.

The bus scene where she asks "want to come with me", (Gachi gallae?) is a now infamous line Eunwoo had in the song Polaris on the Summer Vibes EP. In the stage shows the other 5 make a heart and he stands up in it when he says the line. In the Astroplays during that time the rest of them would constantly say the line when he was trying to talk; his annoyance was adorably cute. The rest of the phrase; "No", "ok" ( ani geurae) is a line from "No, I don't". A digital release from Universe that has a stage show. He is the first one to sing that chorus. There are many more Easter eggs that pop up. Every time I rewatch TB I find another one. There are many Easter eggs to other K-dramas; Extraordiary You, Crash Landing on you, King Eternal Monarch plus the hint at Seventeen by making a group called 18.

2022-07-17 05:51:27 +0000 UTCThe scene where Suho and Ju Gyeong have their heads down at the study table, looking at each other is straight out of the webtoon. I love that sweet scene so much. Also, I actually like the mom character as written. I think the writers just wanted to give viewers another reason to feel sympathy for Ju Gyeong, as well as show what often happens between parents and high school students because of lack of/or miscommunication, in spite of love. From a plot point of view, the greater the estrangement, the greater the outpouring of love if/when those two finally open up. And I don't blame mom for still being mad and frustrated with dad. He lost his job, was scammed out of all their money, caused them to lose their nice home which forced them to move back into their old home (which actually is a blessing for the two sisters). Sometimes complete forgiveness takes time, but I think she's softening up because later in this episode, we see mom with her head on dad's lap, dad gently holding her, and the kids and parents are all watching the baseball game together. I thought it was a great family scene. As for the Su jin misunderstanding , poor Ju Gyeong just needs to get some self confidence. Next week's episode should be everything and more!!! Team Suho all the way!
