Story

From Nerd to Hero
After Youngblood and Ember kidnap the adults, Danny unites the teens to battle against the ghosts. He even sacrifices himself to save them. He’s seen as a hero and after everyone’s parents are rescued. Dash and the other guys stop messing with him and find they actually like having Danny around. It is said that by learning these powers one becomes a phantom, not quite human but not quite demon/monster either. Danny figures out the glyphs by reading the journal and taking the "weird scribbles" he found in there and drawing them out.

Forbidden Fruit: Phantom Lock
Something weird has come to Amity Park, the Yggdrasil Corporation has released these strange locks that allow anyone to conjure up strange creatures, they are used for entertainment, settling disputes, and so on. Phantom Zone
Danny's father knows of Phantoms, from his ancestor Phantoms are terrible monsters that reside from gates in human hearts that open when they fall into despair. Unable to defeat the phantoms in ancient times they were sealed away in another dimension. Over the years the Fentons have been sealing the phantoms in the Phantom Zone, but more and more are being created and the older and more powerful ones are becoming more active. There doesn't seem to be a way to stop them or save a gate that falls into despair. Danny has found a way, he's exposed to the phantom zone, causing a gate to form inside him. Drawing power from the gate he's able to use magic and becomes a Wizard. Sam helps him find and detect gates and phantoms, while helping him figure out his spells and use his magic rings. Jack has tons of magic ores and things his family has collected but can rarely get them to work.

Dragon Ring
Danny doesn’t get ghost powers in a typical way, instead he gets it from a ring. Jack buys a Cursed Ring and on a dare Danny puts it on. The ring binds to Danny and infuses his body with phantom power. He has to be careful as the phantom dragon inside his soul seeks to be free, and if he’s not careful he’ll lose control and be devoured.
