Just like other surprise SVT contents of the past, we got tons of CCs, pre and post-vid discussions to help you understand everything you need to know about the show itself, as well as what's going on within, so instead of talking about random things, we'll just leave you with a short description about PGG's name!
The original intent behind the name PGG is that MC Yoo Jae-suk invites his friends using different excuses, but at the end of the day, it's all excuses and the point is that he wants to have fun with them. Ping-gye means excuse, Go as in Go. So use an excuse, and go for it.
However, Gye could also mean (in hanja) chicken. So we got Ping, as in Pink (because in Korean, pink is written as Ping-keu), Gye as in chicken, and go as in go. So we got a pink chicken go at the same time, hence the logo.
And because of this second meaning, the show started using the word Gye-won, a play on the usual term Hwe-won (회원) to mean a member. This isn't just a wordplay though, because "won" is also a hanja that describes someone working at a certain field. So Gye-won is an official member of the PGG club, i.e., pink chicken club member. XD

My baby sister is 10 yrs younger and is my baby & my family jokes I'm her 2nd mom Baby brother is 12 yrs younger and yup my other child. My youngest siblings are super sweet and close to me

When we were little, ofc i always fight with my younger brother (a year apart) but he was also the one i'll share something (we shared chocolate in the closet lol since i have other lil bros n sis)..my sisters are 5yrs, 7yrs, 10yrs & 12yrs younger than me, but now we are really besties..lol but now it's really hard to have complete gathering (all 9) since 5 of us are married and work in other state. But still we always gather on holidays.

2025-07-10 18:18:53 +0000 UTCThe first time I have watched a Korean content about siblings' relationship (It was Pixid with Hoshi) I was amazed that all older siblings complained and basically wished they didn't have any siblings or they felt wronged...After that I called my older sister (3-year older) to ask if she felt similar about me 😂. She said she never felt that way, which made me so happy. I am wondering if the strict Korean hierarchy have something to do with siblings fighting ...But maybe you are right the smaller the age difference the worse it is...I hope my boys will have a good relationship in the future. They are 4 years apart. In my country we believe it is better to have siblings since it could help you become less selfish and more caring :)

I guess then it's a good thing I only fully watched GoSe and a few Seventeen variety shows and didn't complete watching some varieties (because the captions were confusing me or I didn't see the full picture) because now I can watch for the first time and understand them with you! (Also some things in GoSe too , I can understand better thanks to you guys. Can't wait till we get to the Mafia games because those really tested my speed reading skills...)
