Waited a whole week for this episode cuz we had to see what happens next with the other members in this prank, and it STILL didn't show all the members. Guess we'll have to wait a bit longer for that—in the next episode that is—but knowing it'll be the scaredy bunch of the group, we're hoping they got the best for last XD
Now, obviously, this isn't meant to be the be-all and end-all of pranks. Quite the contrary actually. It's just a fun little thing and clearly isn't meant to be too elaborate. Still, we're having lots of fun with this one :D so we hope you are too!

This was still the beginning stages of GoSe variety format; they were trying things out, so it did not go as hard. Next 'seasons' are higher quality in terms of budget, creativity, and humor. And as others listed, there are many amazing horror episodes!! Ego could have easily been a movie, but Tag is still my favorite. I still can't get over Minghao and that clown. 😂

2025-05-24 05:06:15 +0000 UTCMy rankings for Going Seventeen Horror/Halloween’s Special episodes: • GoSe 2024: Trap (Ep. 112–113) – My personal favorite. • GoSe 2021: Ego (Ep. 27–28) – Escape room with a crazy plot twist. • GoSe 2020: The Tag (Ep. 27–28) – Funny and chaotic. • GoSe 2023: Grudge (Ep. 95–96) – Actually scary and unsettling. • GoSe 2022: Christmas in August (Ep. 56–57) – Playing horror video games. As for a real prank (not just horror-themed), it’s “Seventeen One Fine Day” in 2016, when the members were tricked by the staff into thinking they were going on a vacation trip, but were actually sent to survive alone on a deserted island 😭 I still remember Seungkwan’s shocked face! He even called the show “Seventeen One ‘Bad’ Day” 🤣🤣 The members had to do everything themselves, from collecting food to working for money. I’ve seriously never seen a prank show that brutal and real! Then in “Nana Tour with Seventeen”, they got kidnapped by Na PD right after finishing their Japan tour in 2024 And in 2025, after Na PD read the enlistment news, he decided to kidnap them AGAIN! for a new show “NANA Minbak” (a.k.a. NANA bnb). BTW, before they even knew they were being kidnapped, they were actually on their way to attend a wedding, so they had to film a video explaining their absence and congratulating the couple… and that video was played during the wedding and it went viral lol 😭

2025-05-23 21:17:34 +0000 UTCMy favorite horror episodes are the EGO ones, the production team went all out in terms of immersion and storyline. The other ones are fun but not as scary (for the viewer at least) imo. And yeah among the members, Wonwoo, Hoshi and Minghao don't really get scared. Wonwoo's mind is way too analytical to be scared, Hoshi has slow reactions and just doesn't care and Minghao finds it fun lol.

BUTT Trap was pretty good at that. Or Mystery Mystery also was quite fun. Or the Going Company Outing (this is highly recommended but a lot of context is needed)

2025-05-23 16:21:08 +0000 UTCAbout your guys' question on real horror themed: Just wait till you get to gose 2020 episodes 27 and 28 (The tag ones) and even more scary (basically having a whole literal town dedicated to scaring them) in epsidoes 95 and 96 (the grudge) among the other ones. Gose only gets better and better after each year. My favs start from 2020. Also: Yay, it;s friday! (Aka - Gose day with Handsome Sauages). I don't know if your time would allow, but it'd be great if you guys did two episodes at a time?? (especially because you will have a lot to catch up on... and don't worry about catching up too fast, even when you catch up, there's always more with seventeen).
