This one goes way back for us, back when we were new to SKZ, new to ATEEZ, and were checking out Kingdom Legendary War to learn more about them.
We had little room in our heads to dissect or even register the music back then, but here we are now, as full grown STAYs, revisiting the track and talking about it.
And with that, we also finally got to watch one of the OG links we had on our forever list: Golden Disk Awards performance clip, where SKZ performs Thunderous, Top and Wolfgang back to back!!
This is a good day everyone. So let's enjoy it together.

ps. Should we do another HS react to HS react to SKZ series with Christmas EveL afterwards because I recall not knowing anything about SKZ when reacting to the MV and we think it'd be fun to see our past selves in that vid XD

Wolfgang really feels like such of a statement song to me, it's SKZ saying we are a pack who are deeply bonded and fierce to face and everyone matters- which feels like their core really.

As soon as I hear the chord, I think of their performance (with Hyunjin) and it just takes me right back to Kingdom and that watch through with different creators. Also! I think you should definitely react to old HS! It will be so cool to acknowledge how far you both have come in your knowledge of SKZ from during those first few listens and reactions! From Case 143 to Thunderous to Christmas EveL to S-Class - I think seeing then-you guys from today will be a neat thing. :) And to show newer Sausages the older stuff to! Also also - Wolfgang/Kingdom Changbin lives rent-free in my head!! MAN is he SEO GOOD (Still is, always is.)

2025-05-20 22:19:36 +0000 UTCLike so many have mention, SKZ wrote this track for Kingdom specifically, I actually think they or one of the other groups (possibly ATEEZ) mentioned it during Kingdom when they all got to hear the final tracks for the first time... and I remember SF9 mentioning that it was linked to their Kingdom journey... (at least I am pretty sure it was SF9), cause they opened with a wolf concept they wanted to return to that and cap off their show with a full blown bigger wolf stage. .... cause originally they were going to release 'Thunderous' but decided to write a whole new track and save 'Thunderous' for the Title. Pretty sure they mention this in the Behind the scenes of Kingdom vlog clips as well. Love Hyunjin 'Wolf-ferret-gang' ... your so right it hits different with him doing his parts, especially his verse section ... It was Han during Kingdom and you could tell that they wrote it for Hyunjin, for many reasons ... but during Kingdom that whole chunk of song was Han, he sang Hyunjin's part then went straight into his rap... and then Felix sang his smaller part where he is lifted like a wolf god by the dancers and jumps off them... Fleix had to do so much jumping during Kingdom lol. If they are still doing 'Wolfgang' on their European leg of the tour, I am totally going to be howling when I see them in London.... I mean I might be howling even if they don't perform it! I LOVE this arrangement of 'Thunderous' ... It really feels like they are bringing the storm... I can only imagine how epic and more intense it would have been if they had an audience to feed off of, I think it would have been even better.

Sometimes thereβs law in some videos I think comes from older BTS stuff like MV making or talker etc so you get to see some of the wild stuff weβve all been talking about πββοΈβ¦ all Iβll say is butt wiping πββοΈ

2025-05-20 20:24:07 +0000 UTCOoooh this is similar to the Thunderous version they're doing on tour right now! Love the different "epic" arrangements and all the extra dance breaks. Music-wise, I'm not a huge fan of Wolfgang but the performance really brings it to life. And I'm all for feral Skz! π
