Firstly, this was a beautiful song. We surprisingly didn't get to talk much about the music itself (compared to other things) so we want to emphasize again how amazing this track is.
Secondly, the paper planes clip from the tour was moving. We talk a lot about it and one of us had a slight idea of what came before and after this infamous segment, so please try to pay attention and guide us if any mistakes were made :D

i’m really late but i’m not sure if you know - star lost holds a special place for skz and stay. there was a japanese stay who was really sick with a terminal condition, and her make a wish was to meet skz. unfortunately with covid, skz were unable to actually see her in person, but they did sing her happy birthday and talk with her on a zoom call for her birthday. the stay was really excited because for the maniac tour they were going to japan and skz promised to meet her next time they were in japan. she was getting herself ready and well enough to attend the concert and meet skz, and just a few days prior to the concert she passed away. at the japan concert she would’ve attended, the members wrote letters to her and read them before singing star lost in her honor. there were lots of tears, and star lost is basically dedicated to her now. there’s a video of chan reading his letter to her, and it’s truly super heartbreaking to watch. i hope you’re able to check it out. https://youtu.be/rd74wNW09gg?si=dDdZLGlvYFw-iJiM

I watched this on the livestream- the Seoul concerts were their first proper concerts after the lockdown restrictions and this was the final of three nights. I think they all got so emotional because they hadn't been able to properly perform in front of stays for years and they got to see how much they had grown since their last tour as rookies. The concert went on for like 3.5 hours because they just didn't want to leave the stage. Felix was non-stop crying but just before this performance he was like 'can we all hug one more time?' and it was so sweet and precious. If you can one day you should try and check out the whole concert, just as a piece of stay history. It was when stay and skz got to properly reconnect in person 💛

Def recommend watching that whole segment (or the whole concert!) even if you don't want to record your reaction. I feel like that was a crucial moment for me as a baby Stay that really solidified my love for the group as people not just their music.

I just wanna mention it because the first time I listened to Start Lost, the first thought that came into my mind was that Star Lost is def a song that you can recommend to a vip or an inseo and they would love it. Also funny story, the SKZ Maniac Concert and Winner Concert was live-streamed at the same date and time. As I mentioned I'm a fan of both so I watched them at the same time on different devices lol. At the last part I was crying because the kids got very emotional and Felix was really bawling his eyes out. Then I focused my attention back a lil bit more on WInner's Con and then when I look back at the kids' concert Felix was still crying LMAO my poor baby. 😭 I love him so much.

2025-05-14 15:55:31 +0000 UTCi wasnt in seoul but they brodcast this specific concert on beyondlive and i stayed up all night and wached it live i cried so hard lol i kept a concert diary from all the live brodcasted concerts i watched, this was seoul D3 ( i also watched japan and japan encore) i loved this concert so much (according to my notes they actually ended on boxer after haven fyi but i think that was only for seoul D3) such a fond memory for me im sitting here looking at my diary feeling all the feels i love SKZ so so much

There are clips of the members being shocked when they started flying. So moving. And yeah, Lee Know hasn't really cried since the survival show. He figured out how to lock that in. But, he has gotten pretty close a few times.
