EDIT: So we have NOT reacted to the recent SKZ Record tracks - we've been trying to stay on top of the recent releases by prioritizing them first, so the usual marathons have been put on a short pause :) We WILL, however, get back to all those as the newer releases slow down a little bit!
BUT ALSO, please let us know in the meantime what we should check out after this one from SKZ Record - 13, respirator, whatever else you think is highest of priorities, before ATE album actually drops :)

I love Hanpop!! To me, Maybe feels similar to his more recent tracks like 13, 1,2,3,4,5, and Respirator with Seungmin. So maybe (heh, no pun intended) his style has changed in the last year and a half? I think listening to 13, Respirator, 1,2,3,4,5, and Love Me or Leave Me (covered by Lee Know), and Black Hole (Bang Chang & I.N) would be good! :D Or even just reacting to the Records that dropped since 2024 started! :D Edit: I also agree with the vocal making you pay attention to the lyrics. At first I wasn't sure why it was so far back, but it also has to do with the subject matter I think. He's talking about how "We're all crossing the burning world" which makes us all feel small. So even though he's far away, he's relating to us in the sense that we're all doing this thing called life on a big world.

It would be as if somebody started playing the intro of maknae on top when I.N enters the scene but you don’t know the song. You can’t catch the reference and miss on some of the fun. It’s also a bop perfect for summer xD

2024-07-04 21:14:37 +0000 UTCokay so after someone commented to correct my supposition and after checking the original post: the translation is pretty off the mark on that one, the original refers to han as "jisung hyung" so the logical (and very simple) translation should be "the song i've worked on with jisung hyung"

He said something along the lines of "the song that I worked on with Jisungie-hyung was released on youtube". He also talked about how he's been following skz since he was in school, so it makes sense that he's younger than Han

2024-07-04 20:07:59 +0000 UTChe probably refers to himself here via the word dongsaeng i suppose, which gets translated as brother here since dongsaeng means younger sibling. the translation is a bit clunky and i have not gone to check out the original post on insta but a better translation would be "the song jisung worked on with this young bro/brother [that i am]" to imply he's referring to himself in comparison to jisung who's apparently older than him (so a hyung) as well as a sunbae in the industry. hope this is clear, forgive me if it’s not properly worded it's a bit late here 😅

Very late 90s/early 00s chill alt rock NEUT is a member of a band or connected with a band called 손을모아 (sonlmor) from what I can find. From what he posted online about working on this song, he was in high school when Hellevator came out and has been a long time fan of SKZ, so getting to write with Han was a big moment. He has also worked with K.Will in some capacity for the album All The Way.

He did a song with Bae from NMIXX called 1,2,3,4,5 and the opening sounds like one of the outros you made! You made yours way before Han's song came out so when I heard it for the first time, I was certain I had heard the sound before. You and Han are on the same musical wavelength 👏 Hopefully you'll know which one I'm talking about when you hear it and I'm not totally wrong here 😅

I would also check out Bang Chan and IN “Black Hole”, you have mentioned liking Bang Chan’s different singing styles and this track is awesome for both of their vocals

It's crazy how many Skz records Han has released, you can tell how much he loves making music and he never stops trying new things! Also when I heard the song it immediately felt familiar and nostalgic, it reminds me of 1979 by The Smashing Pumpkins. I think it might be the same guitar riff?

Shoegaze? Oh wow I definitely don't know all of the genres of music. Because when I first heard it, I was like it gives me alt-Rock Vibes but also indie Vibes. when Han-C started bringing up Indie I'm like yes, thank you. I wasn't completely wrong. 😹.
