Let's talk about other groups!

We officially started to follow (although not as in depth as SKZ, ATEEZ, etc.) Treasure, and we thought, "hey, we should have some other groups in line to start, if anything, like we are for Treasure and see which group we find the most intriguing so we could potentially start deep diving!"
So here are some candidates we saw from Patreon comments, dms, as well as YT comments. As always, feel free to double vote, or comment below for other groups/artists.
Now, IF you can, for other group recommendations, try to find and reply to or like the comment that already has the same suggestion you had in mind so we can see how many people like that particular group!

ps. this vote aside, we ARE going to react to a few songs by The Rose at some point either way. Same with OnlyOneOf as we always liked what they're doing from the start.

2023-10-09 19:20:22 +0000 UTCI just realized I said "Prime Time" earlier, but I meant "Peak Time", the TV show that aired earlier this year and gave a second chance of sorts to groups that were struggling or even already disbanded. It was a really interesting concept to me, and I quite enjoyed the show as a whole... none of the groups were allowed to use their own name for the duration of their time on the show, only revealing it when they were leaving. Some of the ones there were Ghost9 (like I'd said), Vanner, Kingdom, BXB, BAE173, M.O.N.T., MASC (later renamed), and 16 others (23 total). They had several "solo" auditions from people who weren't able to come with any group, and basically built Team 24:00 through judges' choice of those... one of our 24:00 members was Moon Jong-Up of B.A.P. Shushing, lol. But it's a great show, and available to watch free on Viki, so figured I'd mention more about it since I got it wrong in my other post. :D

I nearly fell over when I recognized them in episode 1 of Prime Time, and then was so sad for them when they didn't do as well as they (and every Ghostie out here) had wished. They've got a good variety of songs, too, so it's not just all one feel to it. "Think of Dawn", "Focus", and "Control" are obvious good options for tracks to review... but my favorite is actually "T.Y.T. (Take You There)"... again, they have quite a few that I like, but that's definitely my absolute top choice.

I adore their concept, their cinematography, their lyricism, etc. I honestly cannot recall a single one of their videos I've ever skipped over. Hell I can only think of 2 b sides that I'm kinda meh on. Even if you choose not to do a deep dive with them, I do believe that you'd enjoy them as a group even casually.

For Others I'd suggest maybe delving into DAY6's sub-unit Even of Day as well as the solo stuff. Young K released his second solo album not too long ago, and WONPIL will be done his military service soon and we'll hopefully get a DAY6 comeback like early next year... fingers crossed 🤞🤞.
