Ateez gets overlooked for so many opportunities and passed over for so many awards simply because most Koreans don’t respect them because they’re not from the big 4. They truly had to give blood sweat and tears to get where they are! That’s why they’re always so thankful for their international fans. There are so many awards they should have won (or at least even been nominated for) and instances of them being treated badly simply because they don’t have a big agency behind them. They were the very first trainees from KQ ENT and the very first group KQ debuted, so yes they did save them from bankruptcy! There’s a video of the stage where Yeosang breaks his finger! He actually doesn’t even go backstage to twist it back, he does it on stage and keeps dancing. The other KStar interview is HILARIOUS. But you definitely need to watch their Coachella performance first because the interview was right after and they mainly talk about the performance. When you do react to Coachella pls pls pls do weekend 2! The camera work and quality and overall vibe is way better than weekend 1. Not to say weekend 1 was bad in any way. But the weather was bad and basically all the cameras except 1 were down and the crowd wasn’t as interactive. Weekend 2 they just seem more in their groove and the video quality is amazing.

2025-01-04 03:10:54 +0000 UTCthe reason why jonathan paused for the introduction jimmy falon show thing was because he doesn’t speak english. he was trying to find the words and just said introduce yourself. 😭 he grew up and was raised in korea as you read, and before that he was in congo. so no, he doesn’t speak english. i love jonathan so much. i love how comfortable he makes every idol who joins his show. it’s something so unique about the topics and the way he pokes fun and teases groups. he feels more like a friend especially considering how young he is than a host. a lot of idols like a few from skz, doyoung & haechan from nct and many more idols legitimately got so close to him that they go out to eat, visit eachother’s houses and hang out outside of hosting.

It's not only the accents that are different but also some words. For example: Coke vs Soda . Or Pop vs Soda, if we bring in the Midwest. Or bubbler vs water fountain vs drinking fountain. From Ateez, your typically gonna see/hear only San and Seonghwa use dialect (satoori), usually when requested or when they're playing around lol. The stories about Yeosang and Seonghwa are true. I think there's a live or log with Yeosang's finger in a brace. And Seonghwa is missing from some promotions during Wave era. Ateez were and are still very dedicated to their music, performing, and Atiny. And most performers' adrenaline is so high, they either don't notice the pain until it's completely unbearable or they grin and bear it, to at least finish the show. I mean Beyoncé had knee surgery for an injury she got in her 20s ONE MONTH before the Renaissance tour. Performers and entertainers who dedicate themselves to their craft just amaze me.

First boy group at Coachella; first Kpop group to perform at Mawazine festival, the second largest festival in the world, where they also headlined; a very successful North American tour; even 1st place on Billboard 200 for The World Fin: Will, their second full-length album. Yeah, Mingi tends to get up a lot (or at least he used to lol) when he's really excited in these interviews lol. Especially when he's about to spin a story. 😂😂😂 I had the same reaction when I looked up Jonathan's age. 🤣🤣🤣 I was so confused why he was calling them 'hyung'. Like Hongjoong said, once Yeosang starts talking he's out of control. "Stop spitting." "I wonder who was sitting by the window." "I don't remember the place, but I was better than you." 🤣🤣🤣

Got7 is from JYP I believe a yr or two order than Straykids. One of the members is best friends with Chris and was supposed to be in StrayKids too. If you think StrayKids was mistreated, Got7 had it bad too. No promotions, limited albums so they could it was hard for them to hit charts. I think that’s why I appreciate Ateez so much, they know they are still considered a small company group even with all the achievements they have earned

Seongwha broke his rib cause he got sick and coughed.. lol the member laugh about it but back then he was in pain that after a song Yunho and Yeosang saw him struggling and both lifted him up. Hongjoon infamous pepero day story… lol it’s like Valentine’s Day so the members make fun of the day he brought a bunch of chocolates to practice.

Just few days ago for sbs show compare to other groups (from big agencies) they didn’t get that much time for performance when atiny said in their live that they wished the performance was long mingi said sometimes hardwork is not enough and this is real. Even Hongjoong apologised to atiny for performance being too short. Atiny have noticed so many times they get invited to big awards shows for performances (because they know Ateez performances always get hyped from audience) but never get nominated for big awards.
