Yeo running towards Woo, Hwa doing the same thing with Joongie and them crying together), how Yuyu, Woo and Jong baby bear got so emotional, and Mingki just being so happy he couldn't hold himself up... Yunho and Mingi were also best friends before debut and they actually wished each other good luck the night before they both auditioned for KQ, which neither of them knew about. Also when Seonghwa was a trainee he heard about a teenager his age who trained relentlessly and it motivated him to be better, he later found out that guy was Hongjoong. 😭 It really feels like fate brought this group together. :(

The final “win” is always down to two groups based on who ranks the highest in streams/sales/prevoting. Then the live voting during the show determines the final winner.

When groups comeback with a new album they promote on music shows and have stages there. For each week/show a different group wins. This is based on streams/views, how the album is charting, and voting from fans. It’s always really special when a group gets their very first music show win because it shows their popularity with the Korean public. Once groups start getting more popular they generally win a few music shows with every comeback but the first one is always special. Ateez was still very unknown at this point and struggling to get by because of how small KQ was and how little funds they had. This music show win proved all their hard work was worth it!

A bunch of groups that release their new songs, their title tracks, will come and perform them and at the end of the show they all come on the stage and I think it comes down to like two groups and it's based on album sales and fan voting. There's like four categories. I don't know what the other two are but it's it's kind of a big thing. I think they do it weekly which is wild to me but they really have that much music over there. So yeah it's not a competition like Kingdom. It's literally just music chart stuff.
