Bikini week! I hope you all enjoy this holiday as much as I do, it's been a yearly tradition for the entire run of the comic. Perhaps next year I will post a collage of all the bikini weeks together, something that showcases the ten different settings/parties the crew has had.

A side note, I do want to do more of that when we're in 2030. Ten years of Ayyla means there's ten years of reoccurring parties, motifs and scenes. Halloween, Christmas, birthdays and Bikini weeks are a ripe topic for a bit of reminiscing but let me know if you would enjoy nearly a year of 'comparison' journals or if a mostly forward-looking series is what we all continue to enjoy.

Last note, a Height Chart will come in Hayley's Alternate Angles on January 16th.

I suspect everyone is excited to hear that it’s… Drumroll please, Daisy. Ta-da! Bikini Week! An unofficial holiday in my comic where I make sure to capture my friends and family out at a pool party or barbeque in the best kind of swimsuit there is. We’re in Watertown’s park for this lovely afternoon in July, invites sent out to my friends and even a surprise guest. After this shot, my Mom was calling Daisy and I over to help her unpack the truck.

Beatrice and Mom don’t have to worry much about doing the heavy lifting, even going so far as to ask me to put a picnic table over a little to the left. We’re here early to prepare, so I won’t get most of the crew in my journal. Not a big deal. What is a big deal though, is that I’m still a bit shaken from my latest measurement. I have continued to enlarge, but saying it like that doesn’t do it justice.

This is just a quick moment of ours that my Mom cleared her throat at. What, can’t a girl have needs? I really must express how much I love Beatrice… That girl saves me. Where was I? Right. So I’ve pushed up to 12’7”, an insane two-inch growth spurt from last month. I gained a hundred pounds… Believe me when I say I had growing pains at night. It was a big growth, even for me, and I’m firm in my belief now that my growth has increased in pace.

I’ve never grown that much in a month before. It’s proportionally smaller than some of the growth spurts I had when I’d started, but it has been quite some time since I felt so sore in the mornings. Beatrice says it’s hot seeing me stretch and work out the morning kinks, so I’ll just roll with it. I have no other choice. Been feeling just a bit distanced at times though… But make no mistake, I am fully aware of the supportive friends and family around me.

Which is why Daisy and I coordinated a little mischief of our own. See, we knew Mom wouldn’t make the first move on a certain woman she’s developed eyes for, so we called on Betty to help arrange an invite to Joyce, hopefully fostering a budding relationship between the pair. Judging by the blush that’s been on my Mom’s face and how the whole day went, I’d say we made the right call. I hope this is the start of something fun, and I hope you all find love too.
