Hello everyone!
So, a bit of a change of pace with this post! Today I'd like to gush about the stellar Guild Project, an up-and-coming eroge that I consider a real hidden gem in terms of the quality they've shown so far and the steady progress and aspirations they've showcased throughout their development!
Guild Project is, at its core, a turn-based dungeon crawler with RPG elements, set in a fantasy medieval world populated by monstergirls! Lots and lots of monstergirls in a setting revolving around an adventurers' guild while exploring the primal and factional good/bad split between different monstergirl natures!
And, it comes with some of the best original artwork of monstergirls I've ever seen in eroge, and with a really adorable and appealing style to boot! It immediately caught my eye when I first saw it, and the art is in my opinion the game's strongest point. Furthermore, despite being in relatively early development, there are LOADS of scenes involving the monstergirl cast already, the diversity of them is pretty wonderful in terms of poses as well as variety, with lesbian, straight, solo masturbation. etc. etc!
The game, and gameplay, as pretty straightforward and as you'd expect for one of its type - turn-based combat, party and inventory management, RPG-style levelling and upgrades, so on so forth. Now the gameplay you can say is in a sort of late alpha stage, albeit barebones perhaps, but the creators have a really solid track record and have shown amazing work ethic and dedication, so I definitely wouldn't write it off just because of this, and I'm fairly confident the mechanics and balancing will be committed to with the same devotion as the artwork and setting given time and resources! Furthermore, with the game due to appear on Steam as an early access title, I'm confident Guild Project will only grow better with time and given its creators' passion!
On a less-gushy note, for me the weakest point would have to be the writing. I find the story leading up to the scenes, and the dialogue and personalities of the wonderful cast, are albeit disappointingly barebones. I chalk this up once again to a lack of time and resources available as Guild Project is at the moment funded very much out-of-pocket, and given the opportunity, from the devotion the devs have shown, I am certain the writing will catch up to the quality of the rest of the game - and very much looking forward to replaying it once the writing and gameplay are all brought up to par!
Anyway, enough gushing, and if you'd like to check them out and give them a chance, please follow this link! Or at the very least definitely keep your eyes on them for the foreseeable future!
