So, guess who had a crash course in Steamworks/Steampipe/Controller Setups and is now releasing a Demo for BABELOMANIA on the 1st of October in time for the SPOOKY SEASON? This guy :D

BABELOMANIA's development, as I advised in the latest PSA, has now become the priority here at ol' team JPDE -while also making a Dating Sim Version of JPDE2- and the first thing I wanted to do before anything else was figure out how to put the Demo on Steam. It was pretty close but I managed to upload a working build and get both it and the Steam Page for the demo approved! Just in time for the spooky season!

What I couldn't do in time was figure out how to properly make a Ren'py game work on a SteamDeck, so this one demo isn't going to be SteamDeck approved -you can play it on one but there may be a lot of clunkiness- but the next demo, which I want to release in February 2026 as part of the next SteamFest, with a plan to release the full game in May 2026!

It's been a long road coming here, but our first original game is finally on the right track! If you like our games, and our efforts over the years, please think of wishlisting BABELOMANIA on Steam after playing the Demo!
