Poor Evita, she has not been having a very good time recently, all thanks to a lot of her past mental traumas getting triggered once again... Sure, she did end up doing some very bad things in the past (like what she had did to Trina), but at least part of that situation was due to the people who were in charge back then deciding to target her for elimination, simply for the 'crime' of her having both come into contact with Michael and providing him with a safe refuge (because he himself had also accidently uncovered some very uncomfortable truths which those in power had been wanting to keep hidden away from the general public), with that being enough for her to get branded as a horrible terrorist in the eyes of most people? Then, when Michael ended up being captured while attempting to reveal the truth about just what had been going on in the shadows (even if this had looked like an potential attempt at world domination from the outside), things got even worse for Evita while attempting to find and free him once more, things getting to the point where she'd ended up having to tap into the forbidden knowledge which he had told her never to use. But doing so ended up playing right into Xor's hands, thus almost causing the whole world as they knew it to be destroyed! And now, after being made to wonder about just how far she might have ended up falling, if things had gone another way (potentially going so far as to destroy her own morality chains); she finds out that some of those still in power either seem to have learnt nothing at all from what had almost happened, or entirely the wrong lessons... What else can you call the whole idea of using stuff which is covered in spiritual energy that comes directly from Xor himself? So, she's understandably shell-shocked by both that particular reveal and the fact these two are clearly blaming her for setting all the events which ended up bringing this information to light into motion. But, I'm getting the feeling things are about to get even worse for her soon!
