As a baker she was second to none, but she had been known to be a bit absent-minded. She muttered to herself, tasting the pale gooey mixture and adding pinches of this and that. "Maybe a little more sugar... and ooooh, where did I put that vanilla...?"
She turned to paw through the myriad shakers and cannisters beside her. While her attention was elsewhere, the slime slurped up to the cauldron's edge hypnotized by the sweet, swirling mixture. It leeeeeeaned over to slurp up a taste, when- BAM!!!
Dumpling, attention focused on the tome of recipes in her one hand, had resumed stirring with her other hand. Entirely oblivious to the slime's presence, her huge wooden spatula smacked the slime and plunged it deep into the pot!
In addition to being absent-minded, the goblin girl also had a reputation for being more than a bit clumsy....
