It was a dream come true for Longinus. For years he had worked as a contractor, always on someone else's project, always under someone else's vision. But years of patience and saving had paid off, and he was about to flip his first house!
He'd stumbled on the place almost by accident, a lovely home in the hills with plenty of privacy. It had been unoccupied for nearly 20 years, but his expert eyes saw the place still had, as they say, good bones.
The realtor had practically forgotten about the property and he'd gotten it for a steal. But even at a steal, he'd had to sink every last nickel he had into the purchase. There was a lot riding on this... but Longinus had faith in his abilities, and was willing to bet on himself. He'd never been afraid of hard work. And even if it meant pulling double shifts, putting in long nights after a full day's work at his regular job, he was determined to go the distance!
