June bonus #4: Casio PV-1000 episode 6

Barely made it in under the wire on this one, huh? EDIT: I did NOT in fact make it in under the wire, because Patreon decided not to set this scheduled post live yesterday afternoon. Thanks, Patreon!!

But here we are! Casio PV-1000 is now officially in the can. I'd love to produce a PV-2000 series someday, but that may be an effective impossibility. That system shipped with a rubber membrane keyboard that has proven to become brittle and fragile over time. I've yet to see a single auction or sales listing for a PV-2000 with an intact keyboard in the two years since I began tracking down PV-1000 games. It's rough out there.

And that's a shame, because PV-2000's hardware looks like it delivered far more effective results than the weaker PV-1000. I've enjoyed this side excursion through the rubbish bin of history, but this final episode is not really a case of going on a strong note... these three games range from unremarkable to outright bad. Alas.

Anyway, next month's primary bonus will arrive in a non-video form, and then in August I'll begin a journey into a new corner of game history. I suppose someday I'll finish up the Super Cassette Vision series, too, but I'm honestly not in a rush to get that sorted.https://youtu.be/d38eYz4j86s
