It's always fun watching these with you, we were only 10 minutes into episode 7 and you were already crushing on Graham in his suspenders. Classic Imon. I love how you spoke about the Scots and your love for history and culture at the end of episode 7. Recently I've been watching videos and reading about someone named Princess Scota, or sometimes named Princess Scotia. She was the daughter of an Egyptian Pharaoh who married King Gaythelos, the son of Niul Nemnach, King of Scythia, and gave birth to a son named Goidel Glass, who is credited with founding the Gaelic people and creating the Goidelic language. On Wikipedia it says that Goidel Glas is considered the eponymous ancestor of the Gaels. The Gaels were a Celtic-speaking people who inhabited Ireland, Scotland, and the Isle of Man. Goidel Glas is said to have brought the Goidelic language to the region, which would eventually evolve into the Gaelic languages spoken in these areas. I think it's beautiful that there is so much history connected to Scotland from other cultures. Episode 8 was another great episode, we were only 5 minutes into this episode before you were crushing on a shirtless Graham. The way you laugh Imon. God you're beautiful. I loved how you spoke about the Scottish culture at the 8 minute mark in episode 8. Scotland loves you Imon. You're a bonnie lass. I loved the history we learned in this episode, I knew nothing about the Jacobite's or the Battle of Culloden until I started watching Outlander with you. I never learned about it in school, I think it was a part of history that just got forgotten over the years, the same with the Gaelic language. But some schools are now starting to teach about the Jacobite's and the Gaelic language again. It will be nice for the younger generation to learn about their past. I'm doing the same, there are a lot of great history channels on YouTube that I like to watch, my plan is to move back to Scotland next year. While growing up in England I never got to see much of Scotland after we left, when I was young we would visit Scotland once a year to see our family, but they live in the city, and that's all I really know, or should I say, that's all I really ken. Me and my family aren't really that close, we're like strangers to each other. I feel the same way as you do about your culture, cut off in a way. There is so much of Scotland that I want to see, finding your channel and watching Outlander with you has opened my eyes to so much. Thank you Imon. I hope you have a bonnie Christmas. You're a bonnie lass. <3
