In one of these episodes you were looking for recommendations for other shows like this, I assume someone has recommended The Last of Us? They are only the same in that they are both based on video games and only one season with 9 episodes right now, and they both bring out the same intense emotions, hope you will add it to your list if you haven't already seen it.

There is a small teaser for season 2 which came out right after they dropped the last episode. In interviews, it was said that it wont come before 2023. One small note, Powder was about 10-11 when she made it all go boom. In episode 5 Vi said "my little sister could do that when she was 7 (climbing up to the upper city), but that doesnt mean Powder was 7 in the first chapter. Loved your reactions, look forward to season 2 :)
You might want to take a look at Amazon's "The legend of Vox Machina", it isnt as supreme as Arcane, but from all shows i watched the last months, it came closest (still a big gap from Arcane but its the best i can come up with)

You have no idea how big this story is. It's an alternate version of the story in the game, but this season focuses on a handful of playable characters (plus a handful of original characters) from the game, out of 161 champions in total. The first season is one city out of an entire world, a world that has lasted long enough for nations to rise and crumble time and time again. The reason they started in this city is probably because it features some of the more popular designs for heroes, plus the location is smack dab in the middle of the world, connecting two continents, and secluded enough to make branching out anywhere else as easy as possible. They can go in any direction and find a story worth telling. Plus, if war breaks out, Piltover will be a center location for any conflict that might sweep across the world, but there are other locations that will become much more important, depending on which characters and lore they decide to focus on from the game. The nation Mel comes from, Noxus, will probably appear more in the next season because they mention it so much.
