Thank you so much for explaining this to me. It makes much more sense now ♥️

It is a beautiful show. One thing that really added to the overall experience was the sound design - from the OST to the effects, I felt really elevated what was shown on screen :) This episode was so fascinating to me because we got to see so much more of Gilgamesh and how he is so very different from his servant incarnations in Fate/Zero and F/SN. When I first watched Babylonia up to this point, I was floored how Gilgamesh was as a king compared to his vastly more arrogant self in the other series. The previous episodes sort of indicated that this Gilgamesh was different but this episode - just seeing him in quiet contemplation, joking around with Mash and Fujimaru...still in his own haughty way but less so than one would expect. It was refreshing. And yes, this Gilgamesh was not as powerful as the fake Enkidu...keep in mind this Gilgamesh is still alive and not a servant. As to your question about whether there are other series that show the previous singularities, the answer is not all of them. There is a movie called Fate/Grand Order: First Order which depicts how Mash and Fujimaru met and shows the bonds they forged during their first adventure as Chaldea was just discovering the existences of the singularities. After that, there are two movies that cover the events of the 6th singularity Camelot...so the events just immediately prior to Babylonia. And then there is the movie called The Grand Temple of Time: Solomon which covers the events after Babylonia. To give you some context as to why the Fate/GO anime is not in chronological order: it's based off a very popular mobile game. And I believe when there was a survey, the fans voted on which singularity stories they wished to see adapted. First place went to Babylonia and second was Camelot. Solomon was either tied with Camelot or was a close third but I'm not certain. It's also worth noting that the original author of Fate/Stay Night, Nasu Kinoko, wrote the story scenario for Camelot, Babylonia, and Solomon...which kinda explains why these three singularities were so highly regarded by fans of the mobile game. Myself included :)
