2022-01-28 09:30:32 +0000 UTCto my knowledge, the truck stop and public restroom thing isnt from desperation. anonymous sex in those settings is common enough among gay men that theres a term for it. generally speaking its significantly easier to hook up with men than women. idk if i just didnt pay attention to the dean when i first watched but i remember him just being a little dramatic rather than pretty overtly gay lol

I do think it could have worked better as a two-part season finale honestly, that way you can flesh out and foreshadow Annie's discontent with Greendale. It kind of comes out of nowhere here. Also Troy's role as the captain and Jeff letting him take up the mantle. Normally Community episodes surprise me with the full character arcs they fit into just 20 mins but this episode is one that feels a little underwhelming, especially Annie's whole thing even though it theoretically fits with her character I like the stuff with Pierce though and the line "Troy is giving me life force" always gets a chuckle out of me So back to double drops next week right?
