Yes his power and the boss's power confuses most people but I can explain Giorno's easier. Giorno is giving life to inanimate objects, but as we saw he only did plant or animal life. When he fought Babyface he realized he could manipulate them into body parts, of course his stand does all the work when it comes to knowing what parts are needed and such but with Mista, he just used the bullets to fill the holes. This is why he was still on the car, he was trying to get himself in better shape to fight trusting Mista as he "healed". The thing people forget as the season goes on is how dangerous that ability is because everyone Giorno "heals" is walking around with metal and plastic in their body and if its undone be it by death or Giorno's command, they will instantly die from those parts returning to normal, remember Giorno's right eye isnt real either.

2021-09-15 15:13:08 +0000 UTCI love part 5 like I love all my Jojo’s parts; but man this is the part that just goes out of its way to make every power OP out of the blue just to advance the plot (not saying it doesn’t happen in other parts — it’s just more drastic here). It’s not my favorite for that reason, the stakes start to feel cheap. Which is why it’s sometimes better to just sit back and watch part 5 without predicting anything. Araki loves to pull something out of thin air all the time here.

2021-09-15 11:00:00 +0000 UTCSo in the fight with babyface Giorno mentions he grew due to his stand being similar to his, and what he meant by that is in the same way babyface could turn human bodies into objects, Giorno figured he could turn objects into human bodies. From this point on Giorno can "heal" insofar as making replacement body parts for those who get injured, which is also why when we see Mista get shot in the head, there's no wound as Giorno had already turned the bullet into skin, blood vessels ext in order to replace the wound that was made. Hope that clears up Girono's ever expanding list of powers!
