No worries! I looked it up; Patreon does that with long posts sometimes. It flags it as spam.

That happened to me once on another creator's post. And it was a post I put thought into. Sometimes Patreon just acts weird.

I am not sure what happened to your original comment, but I can assure you it was not deleted on our end.

I'm not going to write the whole paragraph again since it was deleted for some reason, but I am glad that LOK is portraying PTSD and mental illness in such a realistic way. It's incredibly rare for a kid's show (technically) to portray something like this. I get that it's frustrating to watch but I believe the more people see shows like this, the more people will learn to show empathy towards people who suffer from PTSD & depression. Recovery doesn't have a correct way to behave or a strict timeline and it's important to see this. Hope this comment doesn't get deleted.

I have always had some sympathy, and even respect, for Kuvira. That part that made me realize why Bolin would follow her was when Kuvira brought up that Suyin did not step up and help the Earth Kingdom. There was chaos and anarchy, and Suyin had the temperament, experience, and respect of the people to bring order. Her reason for not stepping up might be noble, but Kuvira was the only one to handle the situation. Regarding her tactics....look at the American civil war. The north was in the right. Slavery is bad and horrific, but if you read up on Sherman's March, you realize the brutality it took to unify the nation. Sherman's scorched earth policy helped win the war and unify the states, but read anything on it and you realize Kuvira was a lot more generous and supportive of the local population. Kuvira didn't burn and salt the earth. Bolin did see broken neighborhoods get better. He saw the good that order brought his family. He was feeding the poor, and crime went down. The scattered bandits were taken care of. Obviously Kuvira is a dictator and is crossing lines, but the Monarchy crossed just as bad, or worse lines. Why would she give up power? This is not to say I am on her side. Fixing problems and changing hearts depend on understanding the nuances of a situation. This is why I love Korra, there is so much pain and gray and growth and ambiguity.

^Oop didn't mean to write such a long paragraph. Anyway, I'm loving the reactions! Edit: Hmm, not sure why my comment was deleted...
