2021-12-22 11:33:05 +0000 UTCHmm, I guess the spirit can be a little annoying in the anime, but I disagree with the rest. Yuno’s only purpose isn’t to make Asta a better magic knight. He has his on story and goals in the current Manga arc. Yuno isn’t a bad character he’s just doesn’t get enough screen time. Tabata always focuses on Asta and the Black Bulls, but he should give Yuno an arc or two of his own. In this arc Yuno may seem OP, but he didn't win against Rill, and he tried his hardest vs. a Captain that was toying with him. Next arc, he gets a boost but not technically ”OP.” Lastly, spoiler *in the manga at the moment, Yuno is at best average or below it* ** more prominent spoiler and he gets bodied by a someone very cool** Yuno and Asta pushes each other into getting stronger because Yuno believes in him. They have very different paths to getting stronger, though :). I’m sure you're going to like it if your not a manga reader.

I don't know why we acting like he always win or does incredible stuff because they really don't give him a lot of screen time up until the competition compared to Asta. I thought this episode was so amazing simply because it shows that although we don't get to see the training and growth with Yuno, he's still a good rival for Asta and that he's been working just as hard. This is literally the first time where it seems like Yuno may be stronger than Asta which will ignite an even bigger fuel for growth from both of them.

2020-11-01 02:59:00 +0000 UTCI personally find Yuno to be a fine character despite his op-ness. I think we're just conditioned to hate/dislike people that are born talented and seem perfect. It reminds of us our own (or in this case, the other character's) shortcomings. Their accomplishments seem to outdo our own hard work because they make it look so easy. 🤷🏾♀️ In any case, I think Yuno wanting to do the same thing as Asta is pretty freakin' cute. He wants to do the same as his "older brother".

Plus with his cool guy personality and the annoying little spirit I usually don't care to see him in any episodes. I can appreciate though that even in a powered up mode he couldn't completely overwhelm ril.
