People viewed the relationship between askeladd and thorfinn as father and son but I viewed it as two warriors who respected each other. Askeladd always respected thorfinn's duel and I'm sure he was ready to be killed by him at anytime. Thorfinn on the other hand, even though askeladd killed his dad in a dirty way, he eventually respected askeladd in some kind of way as a smart and strong person. It's a very interesting relationship no matter how you look at it.

2020-06-18 06:19:06 +0000 UTCPretty sure the last guy at the end was grown up Thorfinn, the woman in pigtails was probably his mom and the woman on the mountain his sister. At least that's what I think. I haven't read the comic to confirm that. Thorfinn Karlsefni was a real person, so this is probably a fictional take on his life. I'm tempted to look him up but I don't want to spoil anything for myself. lol
