This was such a great journey with you guys. Really enjoyed this reaction and seeing your full thrist brought out in this series more than any other I've seen, it was really hilarious. Hopefully you'll have just as much fun with the next series y'all decide to react to. Also, consider giving Hinamatsuri a try. It's a lighthearted comedy anime that I think you two would enjoy quite a bit, and it's only 12 episodes!

I must have seen this show at least a dozen times since it originally aired and I have to say, aside from my first run through, these reactions have been the most fun I've had with this show. I'm a little sad that it's over. Anyway, if you guys dont do manga reactions/reviews, please at least review or talk about Vol 34. I simply must have your reaction to one of if not the best volume in the entire series.

Gotoh did actually die. The fox thing was posing as him so that Killua wouldn’t find out because well then he would have it out for hisoka

I was sad when I saw no more episodes as well. I looked for about an hour for new seasons until I found the truth.

Beautiful ending. I love how it all comes full circle with Gon finally meeting Ging and having a proper talk. What Ging says about enjoying the detours and journey more so than the destination is really meaningful.
To elaborate on the ending, Gon sent pictures of the view to everyone as you already noticed. Gotoh is unfortunately still dead. But Canary told Asame to keep it a secret from Killua. It's implied that the Zoldycks have hired a Kiriko (the same one that Killua met during his second attempt at the Hunter exam) to take Gotoh's place by impersonating him in order to hide the truth about Gotoh from Killua.
You should definitely continue with the manga to find out more about Kurapika and where we go with the new world. VIZ translations are definitely the best way to go. Feel to give us your thoughts on it when you manage to do so. You can also watch the movies, the 99 version of HxH and the OVAs in your free time if you end up missing its presence. This was a great journey. Glad you enjoyed it. Congrats on finishing. If you ever catch up, you'll join us on the infamous journey called Hiatus X Hiatus. Let's hope we'll still be here to see the conclusion of the journey. :)

What a fucking journey!! If you two are thinking about reading the manga, you could do some sort of "Book Club" thing where you read a chapter or two each week and then do either like a discussion video or maybe even a youtube live thing. The reaction format (like you're doing with anime) isn't as good of a fit when it comes reading manga in my opinion. I like the youtube live thing because that way it's more of an "exclusive" experience and also more chill for you since you don't have to spend time editing anything :) Anyways, whatever you choose I'm sure it'll turn out great!

Everything that you're left wanting is satisfied beyond anything you could expect in the manga. I know you'll love it. If you were open to doing manga reactions, I would be SO on board, because I'm always looking for excuses to relive that moment when I rushed from the anime to where the manga continues and read one jaw dropping page after another. But I understand if you don't want to do that. (If you're open to it you could do a poll to gauge interest?)
Just make sure you research what translation/website to read because there are some veeeery poor translations that mangle and ruin many cool pieces of exposition and dialogue.

"It's kinda depressing when you're done."
That's why I watch reactions lol. It brings to life the same feelings I had when I watched it for the first time, and seeing someone else feel that, and sometimes have a different take that broadens my understanding and enjoyment of the show, is a joy.
